Watching one piece is like giving birth. You gotta keep pushing through the pain and you will be rewarded with something you will love with all your heart.
As someone who has fully caught up , I love one piece . Ive grown up with it , I started watching when i was 11 and now im 16 . No other show has ever made me stand on top of my chair in hype . The beginning suited me well when I was younger , now it suits me now I'm older . I used to only beable to watch it on a super dodgy pirate website on my mums laptop downstairs in the kitchen , and i clicked on the anime by chance. I would sing so loud to the intro when it was the 'We ARE' intro. (I like other intros but that one was just the goat) Oh how time flies by , it just became a comfort show to me. People say the you have to get through the beginning to enjoy it but I still love the beginning , i think it goes so hard. The Arlong arc , alabasta , meeting zoro , running into Mihawk. Luffys backstory with shanks. The fact luffy ran into black beard unknowingly , sky island. And the thing is , I feel like you have to watch through it all , you cant just skip ahead. Because when you get to Dressrosa and Big mama island and wano, having that feeling youve known the crew for ages really adds to the story. It feels like your just an invisible crew mate , and everything just gets you so hype and things just go so much harder. Like without the context the moments just arnt as good.
one piece is a show that i'll binge for hundreds of consecutive episodes then take several months to half a year breaks. it's so easy to get wrapped up in the one piece world and enjoying its progression but sometimes you get to a slow arc or series of episodes and just need to focus on something else for a bit. when i finally caught up to current episodes half a year ago i kept waiting each week for the new ones but that kind of takes you out of the world watching one episode a week so im holding off til i have like 60 plus episodes on hand to binge.
I have been a one piece fan since chapter 1 released. But i still have a deep hatred for the quality of the majority of the animation. Toei was so bad for one piece in the early days…re-using the same 3 SFX during combat, re-using really lazy animation during boss fights and so on. Wano is a perfect example… 10 or so episodes will be HORRIBLY paced only for the last 5 minutes of the 11th episode to be amazingly animated by a new animator. The episodes contains mostly flashbacks and still images of people talking and its so lazy for a successfull series as one piece
I was the exact same, I absolutely hated one piece because it was so long until one of my friends got me into it and after a ton of episodes I enjoyed it
When I was unemployed I got to the arc moist is on in 6 months, crazy it took him 4 years but then again I was watching it for like 6 - 7 hrs at a time

As a One Piece fan, I actually liked pre time skip more than post time skip. That isnt to say that post ts doesnt have its moment, but even worse pacing, animation and ecessive fan service ruined some arcs for me, until the last 300 episodes or so, where animation was a lot better and actually good, but the pacing remained god awful
Similar situation here, but it’s more of the atmosphere and the crew interactions that I miss so much, call me nostalgic but it really used to feel different pre timeskip and I can’t really explain it Although post timeskip introduced one of my most favourite characters ever in all media, as well as favourite dynamic between two characters and story - Cora-san and Law ^^
@@Caca-yq2di But thats the point of the story, pre timeskip is more contained and character focused because they don't understand the world yet, they don't understand the stakes and whats actually at play in the world. Oda couldn't keep that for post timeskip, because everything shifted, the scope of the story suddenly expanded to all the secrets of the world. It is natural that character and crew moments would be more rare. Imagine you traveling in your hometown for 20 years and suddenly have to shift to travel the world. You won't have your typical morning routine and sweet interactions at your favourite bakery anymore, because the scope of your journey shifted.

what got me into one piece is the pirate aspect immerse yourself into the one piece world especially when they’re at sea and it gets very good

Seeing Charlie in his passion arc has been fun so far
I find it funny how he watched 300 episodes until he started liking it, like you gotta give credit to his patience atleast
Thumbnail is the most emotion hes shown yet, we're seeing record highs since he started seperating himself from drama
Meh.
I could tell he was talking about One Piece 15 seconds in. This is a very normal occurance.
How does not enjoying the first half of a show but loving the second half make it the greatest animie ever?
It's not the greatest anime ever. Toei animations did it so dirty with the pacing that it's a snooze fest. It is the greatest manga ever though. And every show have it's highs and lows, some people hate some parts others don't.
One Piece's lows were most mangas high
The start of One Piece anime can be hard for new people because it was made 20+ years ago. A lot of anime or cartoons that old can be kinda rough
Yh but at the same time, I really don't think it warranted a whole remake when so many anime deserve it more.
@@anonisnoone6125anime such as
As someone who is in the early episodes of Cowboy Bebop, I agree. Like literally nothing happens.
Thankfully it's being remade, So it's going to be a lot easier to get through those earlier episodes now.
I actually love the old amination and story @@TheHipisterDeer
We love to see Charlie enjoying the one piece tcg
So happy for you that youre about to hit the 900s. GL man ^-^ Enel for days btw
i love how every thumbnail is just a random frame from the video
I knew with every fiber of my being since the beginning that you were talking about One Piece.
I was an avid hater aswell. Now I have luffy tatted on my arm.
The Baratie arc is when I really started to get into the show cuz that’s when we get some huge world building and the excitement of the crew growing was awesome.
Penguinz0 should remake, "MoistC1TiKaL Situation is Crazy" with him wearing the glasses
Listen, it’s going to be rough. Especially in the beginning, started in the 90s etc etc. However, if you finish it, get ready for the best piece of fiction fantasy to date.
Some shows don't even have 10 episodes but people expect from others to watch this for 50 episodes until " it gets good ".
No one expects anything from you watching an anime, the general consensus is that if you don’t enjoy it at 30-50 episodes then it’s probably not for you, and that’s okay.
Had no idea there was a One Piece card game…. New addiction unlocked.
“Oh my God. I get it.”
Bro it took me 4 months of straight 10-15 episodes every day to catch up im so glad that ur doing it too
7:56 UHHHH... no we don't know... 🥴
My coworker was telling me how his friends girlfriend won 2nd place in that competition
The only bad thing about one piece is that its really hard finding someone who has actually also caught up to talk about it with
2:50 bro got sabo manga
one piece is a show that i'll binge for hundreds of consecutive episodes then take several months to half a year breaks. it's so easy to get wrapped up in the one piece world and enjoying its progression but sometimes you get to a slow arc or series of episodes and just need to focus on something else for a bit. when i finally caught up to current episodes half a year ago i kept waiting each week for the new ones but that kind of takes you out of the world watching one episode a week so im holding off til i have like 60 plus episodes on hand to binge.
3:29 THERES A TCG CHANNEL?!!! Feel like I’ve been mining and struck gold this video
I love seeing Charlie talk about his interests and stuff! It's so cuteee :))
I was the exact same, I absolutely hated one piece because it was so long until one of my friends got me into it and after a ton of episodes I enjoyed it
One update we all needed
Thumbnail looks like he's turning bat mode like a vampire from the underworld movie
I’m so glad he’s done with drama I actually like this channel again. It’s been a while since I get excited for new uploads.
fr, hopefully when he gets back to streaming the chat will be less brain numbing
Was great meeting ya! My gf was the RP Luffy player you played R3! 😅🎉
That thumbnail is like "Jesus Christ is about to slap your head off for your sins".
0:15 what is that sound? It’s only in my right ear and kinda driving me mad.
When I was unemployed I got to the arc moist is on in 6 months, crazy it took him 4 years but then again I was watching it for like 6 - 7 hrs at a time
I just hate everything

Real

How am I racist if I hate everyone equally?
Same

last time you talked about one piece you were like 20 ep behind me and now your 60 ahead of me, I must lock in.
The alabasta arc is fuckin great
Arlong Park, Baratie too
He just had such a strong hatred of Luffy early on that he couldn't really connect with those great early arcs.
THE THUMBNAIL- 😭😭😭
I'm so happy you are able to enjoy this series.
Pick anything Charlie hates the shit out of, make a card game about it, and he will instantly fall in love with it.
Streaming services: The Trading Card Game
bro is so much happier without the TH-cam drama
*Ladies and gentlemen of the One Piece community in all it's glory...we got him.*
broooo, he was on fishmen island 3 week ago and now he is at the end of whole cake... this man is binging like crazy
@@kingcsage6824 he probably just said the wrong number
We don’t want him. Charlie is a poser and a cardboard addict
@@joestar222dont gatekeep, one piece is for everyone
@@kingcsage6824 If he had just read the Manga, he would probably already be through and probably would have enjoyed early One Piece as well. Imagine forcing yourself through a badly paced show and shitting on it because the pacing is bad...
I literally thought he was talking about The Division 1 Ubisoft game at first lmao
same i was hoping hes gonna start playing the division 2 or somn
I had a feeling it was One Piece xD Glad to see you've come around.
I'm hoping the Wix edit that comes out soon can help smooth out the early episodes for new viewers ^-^
I Used to Hate This (Crazy One Piece Situation)
o lawd that boy angry
Lov this flip, one piece is getting so intense i can’t wait for his take on Egghead
I think this is a prefect time to remember my favorite zero punctuation quote when it comes to “it gets good later” for the 10,000 episode property.
The same can be said of being boiled alive
Oden wouldn’t be Oden if it wasn’t boiled
One peak 🗣️
Most emotion ever seen in a moist video
As a One Piece fan, I actually liked pre time skip more than post time skip. That isnt to say that post ts doesnt have its moment, but even worse pacing, animation and ecessive fan service ruined some arcs for me, until the last 300 episodes or so, where animation was a lot better and actually good, but the pacing remained god awful
Yes, this is why the Studio WIT remake is so necessary. After the timeskip I would recommend everyone to switch to the manga.
They almost caught up to the manga
Similar situation here, but it’s more of the atmosphere and the crew interactions that I miss so much, call me nostalgic but it really used to feel different pre timeskip and I can’t really explain it
Although post timeskip introduced one of my most favourite characters ever in all media, as well as favourite dynamic between two characters and story - Cora-san and Law ^^
@@gehtdichnichtsan2418funny thing is the actual time the Strawhats have known each other is only a couple of months
