- As an artist, not everyone is going to like you or understand you...and that's hard to deal with when your starting out, because you want to live what you loves o badly. Unfortunately it can take time that most aren't willing to put in. Some people (watching/listening) never really grasp the full extent of what your art is and how good it is until you do and that can be a maddening feeling. (You might even end up talking to yourself about it, lol). We can get so caught up in other peoples opinion of our creative value, that we forget it ourselves sometimes. I'm more than guilty of this and have lost sight of my vision at times. You have to treat your work and yourself like the masterpiece it is, with passion and humility and focus. Each brush/pencil stroke or song or video is a piece of a bigger picture/movie that hopefully we can all enjoy, but between now and then...I've had some BIG DOUBTS.
