So the title did not disappoint. The OG version makes me think of a child moving away or stepping away from home, kinda growing a distance away from the life they knew and into a new chapter. This version, the somber slowed down, gives me the impression of coming home after that distance, a kind of "after years apart" sense. Maybe visiting a passed loved one, who never got the chance to "know who I am". And now not having that chance to share this new chapter with that passed loved one. Hearing this, all i can see in my mind is 20 years down the line, standing in front of their grave stone, wishing we had that chance back.
