I never considered rage 2 as a sequel its a new other game compared to the original, it's just not the package alone sadly.

Ahh boomerangs.. I remember playing with them as kid.. Wondering if I could make it work tho, looks very unique, not like your standard two-sided boomerang! I got Rage 2 aswell btw, standard edition. Got it pretty much at the release day,, still didn't played it. Too many games, way too many. To conclude my poem: This version of game looks sick :D
I just got the Platinum Trophy last night and I gotta say I really liked the game. The shooter mechanics are really fun but I also have to say I wish there was more to do in the game. Once you're done with the handful of main story missions there's.. really not much left to do. I hope the upcoming story DLC will add some more variety because the world and gameplay is pretty good, I really like it ― I just want more of it! 😅
@@cenorexia Yeah I saw lots of people complaining about the length of the main campaign and such. Sadly it's pretty common in most open world games (best example GTA V), huge map, but its partially empty and lifeless. Congrats on plat :D. Hopefully I will finally start playing Rage 2.. One day for sure!
@@lBurstu There's a single player add-on coming in August, I hope that'll add some more variety because the game world is really cool and the gameplay is fun.. there's just nothing to do once you beat the campaign + side missions.
@@cenorexia Yeah I saw that DLC at E3! I mean as long as story is great in Rage 2, Im ok with that. Only thing that do bother me is like I previously mentioned: huge open worlds with lots of empty space. If you ever played Yakuza games, you will know how perfectly executed that was. Small open world with TONS of activity, side quests etc. I'm pretty sure many people feel the same. Well, the alternative would be to replay entire game on new game+. Enough with that rant, just my personal opinion though. Huge open worlds without any sort of activities are pretty.. bland :(
@@lBurstu New Game+ would definitely be nice but unfortunately.. Rage 2 doesn't offer this. You can start a new game of course, but you'll start from scratch then. The only thing you can do is "reset" certain bandit outposts to fight the enemies there again. But that's not too interesting to be honest. Oh I still need to get around playing the Yakuza games. I only played that one zombie-themed spin-off on PS3 (Dead Souls?) which wasn't like the others in the series and rather linear. Which one would you suggest as an entry point?
