Substance abuse is a burning issue in Ladakh which every responsible individuals are failed to address, it personally don't seems to me that the administration,society or any religious association is doing enough to solve this issue. Drug free Ladakh is just a delusion until and unless there is a loophole in the system,it is widely believed that some police officers and politicians are involve in drugs use or smuggling and they involve some youngsters to get them drugs from places. We need to ensure that drugs don't get in Ladakh, the administration or police department must ensure a strict surveillance on TCP's moreover the department should find out the personnel involve in smuggling or usage. Rehabilitation Centre is a need of the hour in Ladakh.I request the UT administration to please establish a rehab centre as soon as possible!!!
