Im currently still a beginner in electric guitar through self interest and I have so many questions. With a little bit of acoustic experience, how do you strum your strings in 3:19 onwards allowing that 2 strings to mainly sound? Wont the strumming make the other strings interfere making a weird noise?
They are called octaves. Basically your first finger mutes the string in between. Allow your first finger to just touch the string above so it doesn’t ring out. Used a lot in rock/punk stuff. Enjoy!
