Yasmins decision was almost 80% made at the gas station where she was repulsed seeing average family life in the car next to her as well as robert scratching a ticket
@@mikeb3018 for someone who was born into decadence, i don't think a decent job would ever be enough for her. I didn't like the reveal at the end of the episode regarding her childhood but I think that aside, the choice is clear when she is so accustomed to a certain lifestyle and she accepted that its far easier to choose like and generational wealth than love and comfortable living.
@@mikeb3018 It's really just habits. The point of the scene was even after working at pierpoint for years, at the end of the day he is a working class dude and always will be at the core.
S3 was amazing, on par with Succession, such a gift for 2024, so glad the writers stepped it up. Loved how they talked about the Rishi episode, probably the best episode in the series, my fav character and great actor his and hope they explore more of Rishi in S4. I think S4 will be just as good if not better, the writers/directors have worked it out
Amazing how they had the same budget for all seasons and how they used the budget in Season 3, im going to watch season 3 again, Rishi episode and finale were my favs. I miss good tv
can't wait for season 4. never expected it to get succession-good and not just entertaining, hadn't had goosebumps watching a tv show since succession.
Season 3 did a great job of paying off season 1 in terms of how each characters motivations have changed or been ever more present, as they have grown as people. In terms of Jasmine her behaviour patterns have been almost vindicated as a product of constant abuse/trauma and living in denial throughout her life. Jasmine doesan't know an ordinary life hence why she is disgusted by the prospect of living one with Rob. Harper has changed in the way she now graves more human connection and is making less self destructive decisions. Eric's betrayal was taken as a learning lesson for her in the end, rather than her being vengeful and alone by the end of season 3. Making Rishi a real human with more layers and being fleshed out was brilliant. Him being an addict for risk and that leading to his whole life blowing up was great to watch as you are rooting for him one minute and then realising there truly is no way back for him. In the end the dark side of his behaviour traits and decisions came to burn his world to the ground.
While I understand what they mean by their professionalisation as TV writers, I also think all the character payoffs is very much based on what the show was in season 1. I like that they are allowing the scope of the show to grow with them, but it was always great from the first episode and all the stakes feel more earned than they would have if they were in season 1. Basically, I'm a season 1 truther.
Love this show. Intelligent dialogue that makes me watch each episode repetitively, to catch moments that educate me on the business of investment banking and how the characters are evolving❤
Industry season 3 is just boom 💥 what a incredible writing and cast are just amazing. But honestly the devastating ending of this season literally broke my heart . But I don't think yashmin and Roberts love story is end some thing is more bigger upcoming industry season 4. Can't wait for watching season 4. I look forward to seeing what direction Yasmin Robert and Harbor's life takes in the future. These three are my favorite characters in this series.i think upcoming industry season is more bigger and deeper
Bit of a cop out for them to not mention the fact the Yasmin story is HEAVILY lifted from Ghislaine Maxwell - her father disappeared under similar circumstances in the same way. And Rishi is very clearly modelled on certain aspects of Rishi Sunak, the country life, the flashiness.
“We learnt on the job” is the best thing young artists can say. Bless HBO for trusting new creatives with this kind of courage/vision.
Primarily, bless the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation).

he had/ was about to get a decent job i dunno why he thought he needed to buy scratchcards lol

The budget was the same for all three seasons, wow
Wow what brilliance! Their growth each season is remarkable. Great interview questions.
I think ALL the seasons have been great! loved Industry since it first aired. Love that it's getting a lot more attention now.
Amazing writing! Amazing season!

Great series and writing. I really like how the business and personalities all intertwined.
They crushed it this season, wholy shit. Thank you for continuing this show HBO! 🙏🏻💯
Industry is one of the best of shows on tv.
Thank you both for making great fucking tv again.

seasaon 3 was great !!
Best Season
talent
Yas and Rob. What a tragedy!!!!! ugh. Love this show
he's better off without her tbh
IMO: Yas made the decision at the gas station. She rather owned the casino than the lottery ticket :)
Christ these guys are posh af 😂😂

loool. Bro what?
I was also disappointed they didn't mention the obvious lift from the Ghislaine Maxwell story
😁You remembered, how old were you then?
