- Even though most people think that we’re brothers by blood, we’re actually „only“ brothers in spirit. @johannimmanuel and I met a few years ago on one of my early handpan workshops. Both of us didn’t expect this to be the start of a great friendship, business partnership and true brotherhood.
Currently we’re working day & night on a project which is totally new and unique in the handpan world. As we both recharge while playing handpan, these jams are the perfect way to calm down, relax and let go of all the mind work. I hope you enjoy this jam 🤍

Thank so much Malte. I am currently traveling in Japan, something I always dreamed of doing. During my week stay my best friend (my dog) had a stroke and was diagnosed with cancer. I've had enormous waves of emotions hit me at times, that have made it hard for me to even want to sleep in my hotel room.
Your music has always been there for me and I knew that if I put it on I would feel serene, calm, and understanding.
To trust in the process, to understand being 5000 miles from home there is nothing I can do. My family has been an amazing support during this time. I am so very blessed.
Listening and watching you play the handpan has been godsend, I feel a warm hug from the universe as tears rush down my eyes. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have taken the pain away and allowed me to understand a little more of what this is teaching me. I am so blessed and my cup is over flowing. My dog and his brother are rescues, almost 14 years old they have been there almost half my life and I know its in God's hands now. To trust in the process. I send my love and all my light to anyone and everyone. 💚🙏

I wish i had a handpan so i can learn to play it, and whenever i feel stressed or overwhelmed to play it. But for now i will admire these guys and theirs masterpieces.
Malte you are in essence the first sounds of spring. To me. I just cannot have a calm start without this music. It allows me to function with some rational compacity that nothing else in my life has the power to do. I thank you everyday for those moments. 🌕

Дуже розслабляюча та заворожуючи музика. Неперевершене звучання двох братів по музиці. Декілька тижнів тому, випадково натрапив на відео де Malte Marten неймовірно грав на Хендпаді і рандомно вибрав переможця, якому відправить один Хендпад. До цього я декілька разів чув як звучить Хендпад у якихось відрізках відео але після прослуховування, я закохався в цей прекрасний інструмент.

I don't think people know how much Handpangs are...Go and look how much professional ones are. I was thinking of buying one then I thought Hmm I haven't got that kind of money. I have played on two of them with minor and major scales, and was allowed to touch a street performers two handpangs for about 5 secs to 10 sec each. As he could see me standing listening to him as I am musically intwinded and have very very good rythym. As he could see me tapping my fingers in time with his taps of what he was playing, whislt my fingers on the side of my thighs with my thumbs in my pockets , whilst he took a small break after playing for 2 and an half hours for the public. I went to go and speak to him. Telling how I play guitar and have done for the last 27 years (Im 38 if your wondering.) And love the sound of these instruments, and asked kindly if I could have a very tiny little quite go on one, he certainly did not say no but he agreed to hold it whilst I tapped a melody out on it whilst telling me where the keys were Its was lovely the one he was playing was rooted to A and . Truly truly truly lovely to play. I asked him how much one was, he turned round to me and said the one in a major scale at 432hz is €7,750 I was like er "No way" He was like "Go look online this one has 14 notes ". Go look at price they really cost and tell me I am not lying.? As he continued to say " As mine other is rooted in C minor and has 9 notes with notes a octave on the minor 3rd and a A4 octave and cost a little less of €6,890 as it does not have a full range of notes of 12 semitones. But the the one that have the full range of two octave of 24 notes and the one with 24 two octaves plus micro tones add up too about 36 notes are a a ridiculous amount of money, double almost triple the amount of what he paid for almost the price of his two handpangs together was the price of one with 36 notes on it including micro-tones with a sepertate hand drum withvthe other having the micro tones on it. With 12 micro tones and both are bundle and cost the price of a car mate.(quarter tones. As semitones are half tones. The flats/sharps the black keys on pianos and keyboards well micro tones the tones in between the white and black notes of Western music well where you hear in Indian music. As they have 36 tones if I need to be corrected on that please let me know it has been 12 years since I left my music technology college course. As the students were taught about intervals and micro tones. And taught us a little bit about Eastern Indian notes for one lesson in theory practice.
So handpans/ handpangs, Ones with perfect intonation that have been formed and tuning perfectly to certain frequencies, its nothing like have a 🇧🇧 steel drum, completely different metals they are not made from steel, there are completely different metal composits that are fused together to help with the sustain and resonances of a hangpans. a lot of variations and sizes to consider as well as many other fundimentals, pitches, scales, these instruments are a lot, I repeat a lot of money!!. Respect gentleman.
