I did this on the kaido battle tour server with a random that I later friended. It usually takes a while to find someone thats close to your time, but once you do its worth it!!
It was a good and fun race. You left no safe space for overtaking. I think you got a good grip on me from the previous race 😂

I don't think you need friends. Once you're on the server, it's not hard to find a like-minded racer.
