Great video, I'm really enjoying it! People have different reasons for not getting skillcapes. I've got a baby on the way and I think it would take far too long between episodes if I went that way. The beauty of chunk accounts is that you can make the account what you want them to be. Keep up the great videos, 10k views in 4 days is absurdly impressive!

Awesome first vid :D Use a white apron to get in the back of the food store, and then you can take unlimited free raw chickens from the crates to cook up and save 1gp each time! You can even take unlimited bananas and sell them back to Wydin (though pickpocketing will be way faster to make money)

you can pickpocket men/women for gp until your low hp then go kick seagulls until your hp regens and repeat. would be a decent way to get the money for axes, but also gives you xp while you wait for hp regen instead of just standing idle.
Edit: commented this before the 18:00 mark lol. but hitting the seagulls while waiting for hp regen is still viable :P

Oh thats a great suggestion! Given how available the goblins and imps are i might do that! Or potentially leave them for their designated chunks, but we will see, thanks for the tip!
The dropped clue timer was changed to 1 hour somewhat recently, which is why that clue was still on the ground.

Nice vid mate, I also started a sarim chunk account half a year ago, but I rolled to east Falador and have now been stuck in MLM for months, god the mining is slow. For my own sanity I decided to not repair the struts for 99 smithing 😅

I think you can use the white apron from the wall in the bait shop to get access to the back room in the food shop where the crates have various free stuff in them, including raw chicken

Just a heads up, returning from Void Knight's Outpost puts you ON the boat that's out of your chunk so def want to unlock that chunk before making Void Knight's Outpost rollable.

Ignore the sweats demanding you to 99 farming to be "extreme", there is no one specific rule that makes a chunk account extreme or not extreme, it's about the overall difficulty of the rule set (which you are pretty up there with highest level processing instead of lowest level, and 99s except for farming) everyone makes their own rules but people are just mad that you aren't doing limpwurts exact ruleset.
Loved the video thank you for posting 😁 At the end of the video for the chunk goals the green/yellow difference is hard to see for colorblind

I think clues stay on the ground for an hour. Useful for clue juggling. You can drop port sarim steps on the ground and go for another til you get 3-4 then you got a guaranteed casket.

Good first video. Great sound quality and your enjoyment of the game comes across in your commentary. The pacing is really slow though, the run time feels bloated, would be great if it was cut down to like 20 minutes. The music was also really repetitive, I love that you have background music, and it is really important, just mix it up in the future, maybe use some more osrs music :)

edit: maybe plan out the structure of each episode so there is a clear beginning, middle and end. It's hard for us viewers who watch 20 different chunkers to remember all the details and follow along if you don't hold our hands through the journey

That chunk picker tool is awesome. It's quite sad how little support these awesome projects get. Like the amount of donations runelite gets a month is pitiful.
Might wanna look at the "World Switcher confirmation" setting to make hopping worlds nicer.

Luckily you noticed most of the other things I wanted to say before the end of the episode lol. The only other thing I'd thought of was NPC Indicators to shift-right click NPCs such as the Imps so they'd be highlighted and easily seen.

Shoupd have pickpocketed till like 2 hp then just afk seagulls while your hp regens

Haha I knowwwww I realised how dumb I was being quite quickly lol! The plugin is the menu entry swapper plugin, I think runelite comes with it preloaded but you may need to switch it on
You won't have to hop so much when you start cooking sardines since the fish shop has a stock of 200 and thieving is probably your fastest money maker since there's no general store (good spot for a clip of the coin pouch going up broken up with thieving levels)
I'm many many hours ahead of you haha but yeah, I considered the sardines but need every GP I got for the runes and the sardines are 10gp ea compared to the 1 for the meats, but it's a good suggestion! Thank you :D
I understand where some of the negative people are coming from, but tbh it’s nice having a chilled ‘normal’ play style of a chunk account compared with the nutty grinds or constant things happening. Kinda like switching from Rick and morty to disenchantment for a lack of a better analogy. Obviously take in whatever feedback you want but this community has always had a loud minority of people who just complain about everything harshly. The reason this game is so peng is people who just enjoy it for what it is, so you do you and I’m sure enough people will follow and support it

Yeah there's tonnes of accounts out there doing the 99 every episode, 100,000 of this every episode etc. I just don't have the time to do that with my real life commitments so the series will go as fast or slow as I play haha! Good to know so many people have been enjoying the episodes so far! Hey, anything out there in public will gain some level of "hate" towards it, it's part of the deal haha!
Isn't 99 skill capes the main part of an Xtreme Chunk account? Are you doing 90 mining for stars when you get them?
There's a lot that goes into it, one of the main things is instead of processing the lowest item of a material (for example a dagger), you have to process the highest (platebody) as an example. But there's tonnes of different rules. I'm not 100% on capes yet, I just know I won't be doing the farming one due to how slow it is, but may do the others :). If you check out the chunk picker website it will tell you the full rules, I've actually added some bits as well, so for example the standard Xtreme ruleset only counts utility spells as tasks where as I went with combat as well as it felt more complete
There are sardines in the fishing shop that might be better to get than hopping for meat and chicken

Just so you know, that opening with the panning over the default map is a bit vertigo-inducing, might want to shove it in Blendr to smooth it out, or work out another opening. Don't wanna be a total downer, but figured you'd want constructive feedback.

A lot of critical comments basically boiling down to you not having enough of a gimmick. It’s fine to have a gimmick, invent a new game mode, whatever, but I personally watch OSRS series because I like to see people’s personalities and decision-making processes. An earnest player enjoying their run is way better than a new gimmick to me.

If you look back to limpwurt's first video the 99 capes are definitely the main focus of the xtreme rule set, you are more in line with Josh isnt gaming who is doing a semi-xtreme rule set. Even without the capes you still have some potentially brutal grinds that are close by, Falador park alone would have 91 farming, 92 mining, the mole pet, and 99 smithing once you have a furnace unlocked.
I haven't fully ruled out 99s I just said the main reason I've not commited is for the 99 farming cape, may still do others if I have a viable method :)
@@OrdoOSRS definitely worth figuring out an exception for it as you work through your first chunk, maybe it becomes a goal once you have a set number of plots to work with so it's not so slow or as some others have said you have a set amount of farming levels to get with each chunk. There is also the potential that you don't role the chunk for 2 years like limpwurt did with the lumbridge tree patch and its becomes a non-issue lol.

Burnt food is something that can't be bought or sold on the GE and therefor it is difficult to collect a lot of it. That's why people collect it.

In my opinion this isn't "extreme", since you dont include the 99 cape. I think you can call this a normal chunker, but definitely not extreme since the ruleset isn't the same as limpwurts.
As I said in the video I'm going to consider other capes, it's mainly the farming one. But one of the biggest differences for an extreme is that you have to process the highest level item instead of the lowest on vanilla, so for example I'd have to make a rune platebody instead of a rune dagger if I could unlock it etc. I'm also doing some more stuff compared to limpwurts rules such as including combat spells as tasks, his ruleset only includes utility spells so he would have already moved on from the chunk without the 59 magic. But there's 100s of different rules out there and hard to categorise each playthrough into 3 different rulesets. It's fair for you to think that, but feel free to take a look at the rules on the chunk picker :) (I clicked the extreme set on there)
@OrdoOSRS I kind of agree with the og comment, but at the same time, I get it. Not everyone is fueled by auts. Even limpwurt was getting stressed on those grinds. At the end of the day, play the way you want. I damn sure know i'm not built for that kind of grind. GL man
any chunkman has extreme amounts of spare time at hand.

Id say if you play extreme, you play extreme. But reasonable is to make it fun to you and not grind 99 farm with potato seeds lol. Id say come get your farming cape when you got enough ways to train that skill. Like 2 tree patches and a source for seeds as an example. Something. Dont skip that cape completely :) or then make a rule like "every chunk ill get 5 farming lvls if i can gain farming xp" or something :)
Really good idea! Yeah the main reason for the rule is the fear of getting the farming chunk, but I'm open to other capes especially the combat ones. I think I'll just judge each one as it comes, if it seems reasonable (as far as chunkman go) then I'll do it :)

Man if you dont want to adhere by the extreme chunk rules, just do a regular chunkman. Just don´t call it extreme if you dont follow every part of it, it would water down the challeng.

You have to start strong to get people invested. Some other chunkers get their first skillcape in the opening episode, or set impressive tasks for the series. And you're here showing 5 full imp kcs and the dumbest way to lose HC status. Sorry if this comment isn't encouraging but let me be honest. Nothing in this almost hour long video was remotely interesting or impressive, it was tedious to watch even on 2x, and I don't see why I should sub and follow this account progress.

Yeah this one was a bit rough. Confusing order of operations and pretty dull, seems like a no brainer to just thieve until you get enough gold to get BiS weapons before training much combat. Other than mage it seems like getting all of the tasks in this chunk should be doable in like a day or two honestly. Cooking is also pretty artificially extended since he's stuck buying and cooking raw meat and chicken until 35 where he can make pizza's. Just needs to get some buckets from Imps for it to be possible.
