Had never heard of Travis until I saw him absolutely destroy a George Lynch show, was one of the best shows I have ever seen. Then I come watch this, and now I wish I could buy this album on vinyl. Guess I will have to buy a shirt instead. Hope he comes back to Diamond Music Hall with his own band. :)
That first song is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard in my entire life and I was moved to tears like a crying child. In fact every time I hear it I am moved to tears. I really need this album. It's invaluable to me
Travis was actually the frontman for the band Second Coming, which was in the Seattle scene back in the day along side AiC and Soundgarden. Check em out! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Coming_(band)
yeah and Travis has sang at Layne Staley memorial shows. Layne also sang one of the songs on Second Coming's 1994 album. I don't know how good of friends the members of Second Coming were with Alice in Chains but I've always sensed some relation Travis and their guitars even just on the 1998 album alone, which is probably what most people know Travis from.
Glad to see Travis still doin his thing. Met him back in the mid 90's when he was singin with "FTA" and then "Second Coming". Solid dude.
