MgCl have ionic bond but how it is partially -ve and +ve.🤔🤔🤔

Ionic bond is always between cation and anion... So cl will have partial -ve charge and Mg will have partial +ve charge.

Sir , what is the use of dry ether in wurtz reaction?

In wurtz rxn dry ether is added as a catalyst....
If we didn't add it then tha Na will react with water or moisture nd converts Na into sodium oxide or may be hydroxide...
Maybe ... sir unintentionally skipped it while teaching😊
