Those SSRs are solid bikes. I sold a KTM a few years ago to buy a couple 110s. Best decision ever. No more KTM problems and my boys ride with me every time because the bikes are reliable as hell. I've now owned 5 of them and can't believe they aren't more popular. I'm probly going to go get a 140 and a 250 or 300.
i bought a funbikes kmxr 140cc of my friend for 160 pounds or 200 dollars aboslutley mint only had a problem with 3rd gear but had it sorted in one day. good vid man got yourself a new sub
I broke that garbage skid plate within the 1st week! But I mainly ride off road, also had to ditch the loud annoying exaust for the times I do decide to take it on the road
You made a good decision by getting the ssr. All the aftermarket, XR/CRF mounting engines are made in the same factory. The piranha engines SSR engines and one other I forgot the name are the race engines 2 valve race engines. The 4 valves are all called Daytona. There are differences and those engines with totally off brand names like SDG but as of like 2017 everything I stated is true.
Sdg is definitely one of the better smaller brands the 3 valve head they come stock with is indestructible, they’re made in America and they had great customer service back in the day
Sweet. Not gonna lie I’m old as shit and got an Sar 125 to ride with my son. I’ve had more fun riding this goofy pit bike than I ever had on my kx250. Lol. It’s just fun. The small bike fits anywhere and makes small riding areas all new and interesting. A lot of times I just go off trail and explore. If there’s a tree across a trail I can just blaze a trail and go anywhere. It’s so nimble. I’ll probably do the lifan 150 swap this winter for fun.
I got a 140 nitro bigwheel never had trouble with it got it now for 3 years You want your wheelies more good keep your knees more to the bike Like the video man 👌
@@dario-98 i only changed the position on the jet needle in the carb it was a little to rich and bogged with full throttle but now its some more leaner and it works perfect im gonna transform building make it this year to a streetlegal supermoto 140cc😁
Have you rode a 140BW? Was wanting a 160TX but everyone is sold out here. So now looking at the 140. Just trying to decide on the small wheel or big wheel.
@@wheeliehog6783 I understand that. I think I’ll go big wheel then when they put out a new 160TX I’ll get one of those for a pit bike. Can never go wrong with 2.
I own a 140bw it’s been a good bike the only thing I don’t like about the 140 is the chain adjusters don’t thread into the swingarm they just sit in a hole no threads it’s janky but I bought a new yz250x and gave it to my son but I’m sure you will like it
@@jackmurdock5723 that’s cool I love mine and if your still debating on the ssr 140bw or small wheel I’d get the big wheel if your doing any trails because of how much better the bigger wheels go over obstacles even small ones it’s a noticeable difference I bought a small set of rims and tires for my son to ride it and I definitely noticed a big difference there
SSR pit bikes aren’t even that good if you ask me they last but they don’t even have a radiator that says it all most other ones like stomp etc do but you wants a demon X 140 come standard with a mr2 racing engine
