Appreciate your efforts. This video is enough for me to vow never giving them my business.

Good luck at the range! Too bad a couple inches of counter boring won’t solve the issue

The action and barrel are too big for my mini lathe, otherwise I might just try it out!

Great video. My bore is not that great either… crusty. I need a bigger brush like you had. But overall my rifle was in good condition

I just got an 88/90 from RTI. My barrel has also lost rifling at the muzzle. Not as bad as yours, maybe the last 4 inches. The funny thing is, the rifling near the chamber looks pretty strong! I wonder why all these rifles are like this? Were the soldiers trained to clean from the muzzle with a steel cleaning rod? Or maybe when they were sitting in that goat shed in Ethiopia, the moisture would reach the muzzle first? Idk. Strange. Usually if they’re shot out, you lose rifling from the chamber end. My bore looks a little better than yours, but my rifle has way more rust, broken rear sight spring, stripped bolt head, (how!?) and a filed cocking piece.(hair trigger) Enjoying your videos! Thanks!

Have found a good starting point is to get a suitable funnel long narrow neck. Support the rifle vertically. Muzzle down. Slowly pour 2 quarts boiling water no additives thrrough pan underneath beware the very hot barrel metal. Self drying. Takes out all corrosive salts and some rust

You do a good job but I will never buy again from RTI..... Just not worth it I rather buy a good rifle or handgun that I can shoot..... be well.

I think I'm the same. Unless there's a really good deal on something I can't find anywhere else, I won't be buying from them again

@@rakumprojects , It really doesn't pay to buy these Wallhangers plus someone who doesn't know firearms is going to get hurt.... I buy from Auctions, GB, Pawn Shops, ect. Just picked up some GP-11 in a LGS for 80 cents a round... Late production 60 round packs.. be well and Keep America Great 👍.
