Truly Kai has worked and honed his dance over years and years, sometimes 10 hrs a day, day after day. He has worked on his vocals and trained to use them to their best effect. None of this is by chance and he has continued to grow and develop as an artist. And this whole album is his brain child. He handpicked all the songs, developed the concept, chose the wardrobe, and on and on. We've waited a long time for a Kai solo album and this was definitely worth it
KAI is an AMAZING dancer. He has Ballet & Jazz background which he incorporates in his dancing. He's a very balanced dancer and has even the title of "Idol of Idols". His face expressions while he dances are just the cherry on top ❤️
Wow! It's been so refreshing to hear you speak about the hard work he's put into his dancing and stage presence. He was the first to come and the last to leave training when SM took him as a trainee. His whole album, MV and Film:Kai represent everything he's been doing and learning for more than a decade. honestly sm has been pushing the boundries of concepts for a long time. exo's concept is literally that they're aliens with superpowers that come from a different planet. i think in kai's video he's back on their home planet (called exo planet) because of how dystopian it is and in old exo music videos/teasers they show that same dystopian planet. the thing at the end of the mv is two symbols that represent two exo members that are about to be released from the military very soon!

He is a classically trained dancer since he was 8. He was literally a ballerino and a professional Jazz dancer even before he entered SM. This is 90% Kai's effort and money. In SM, they give you minimal support for solo projects. It's up to the artist on how far they're gonna go with the budget, production, etc. So this is all on Kai. The concept, the dancers, everything. He and Mihawk took 2 months to audition dancers for the project. It took him 8 months of hard work to produce this album.

So...something you didn't know. Kai's superpower teleportation was depicted in the video a lot. There is EXO Storyline in this video. We aren't sure of all the clues we've been given in this video, but we have many theories. At the end, where you see a huge pc of Earth errupt and then it freeze over is a nod to both D.O. and Xiumin, who were fulfilling their mandatory military service at the time. D.O. is earth and Xiumin is Frost. Also check out Kai:Film....it was his teaser for this album and if you are into cinimatography, you will LOVE this teaser. before kai it wasnt normal to be a classically trained dancer and then go into kpop. people didnt associate the two things. there was a stigma of "kpop dancing" versus "real dancing." kai bridged the gap.
