People in comment section are very ignorant. It's okay to dislike a movie but they are not even trying to understand the story . Finally these filmmakers are trying to use the already present material which has much content . Together with their imagination they can create many good stories out of them. They still need to do a lot of work and stop copying VFX or design ideas from Hollywood.

Foreign countries mein science based, technology based films banati hai, robots , aliens wagaira dikhaye jate hai, aur hamare yaha kabhi ramayan, kabhi mahabharat, kabhi es bhagwan pan kabhi is bhagwan par, sabko pata hai har ek bhagwan ki story par usi ko thoda mirch masala aur thodi action dalenge aur serials aur films bana dalenge, kitani bar ek hi kahani alag alag angles se ratani hai, aur kyun? Aage badhana bhi ya nahi ?
Foreign countries k paas kuch history hi nahi hai toh wo aise hi kalpanayo k upar movies banate hain. Humare pass unki kalpana se jyada strong history hai jisko dekhne sun ne se kabhi mann nhi bore hota. Isliye hum toh dekhenge baar baar. 😅

What's wrong in that? These stories try to tell you some things that are still relevant, philosophical not just religious things. And if you don't like mythological aspect then you can focus on acting, execution, cinematography.
South movies are too loud. The saying money can’t buy class holds true. Regional movies are great and should be encouraged but when your sole effort is to make big budget showy movies, somewhere you lose that ability to connect with souls. Bengali movies have always shown class and soul touching content. And for the record I’m not even a Bengali so no bias there.
