You're confusing two separate DHL branches. DHL Express and DHL e-commerce are two separate entities. Express primarily concentrates on moving freight internationally where e-commerce (formerly known as DHL global forwarding) is concentrating on business to consumer shipments in the domestic market.

Yeah you’re wrong! I was there during this waste. A campaign called “going yellow” 😂🙄 they changed every thing to yellow, uniforms etc. let’s not even get into all the ASTAR airways lawsuits that costed them millions and millions in litigation over whether they were a domestic airline when they were technically not a domestic airline. They’re a crooked joke and failed due to poor planning. I’m now with a 3rd party company who delivers DHL crap that they don’t feel like delivering and forward to us because it’s 3 miles off the main highway 🤣

My package is stuck 2 hours away from me for 5 days, I gotta say DHL is sucking it up in the US, and even worse that particular center has both horrible customer & worker reviews basically saying things along the lines of "Don't work there!" or "You'll never get your package, but good luck.".

I worked for DHL for 20 years and had a bad injury at work and DHL treated me like a criminal after that. and they are doing there best not to have any liability the company is evil!! 20 years of service just to be thrown into the gutter.

I feel your pain sir. Last November they fired me with 24 others during the height of Covid because we could not work overtime on a handful Sundays and then went on to manipulate the appeal/grievance procedure and lied on sworn statements to an arbitrator. They focus more on terminating employees then they do customer service.

DHL express tried competing with UPS/Fedex in the domestic market but when the stock market crashed in 08 they pulled back. Now they only do international express with some domestic express with some big customers. DHL isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Good content. A few pointers though:
The intro does not suit a quality channel like this could shape up to be in the near future. The concept of the logo is good, just the execution needs work.
The outro could not heard over the outro music.
The pronunciation of some words (Los Angeles, Deutsche) needs work.
Overall, the most important parts of such a video, the research and the analysis, is on point. The pronunciation could be ironed out in five minutes, and the rest a few hours, but you're on track to creating great content.

You have no clue what you are talking about. When DHL bought Airborne Express in 2003 it did not have a US ground operation in place. By 2004 60% of its domestic business was ground based but was being handled through it's air operations. They were losing about 1 billion dollars a year for almost 5 straight years because of this. Instead of getting rid of their ground service first they just got rid of their entire US domestic service and laid off 90% of their workforce.

DHL EXPRESS CVG HUB IS A VERY DANGEROUS PLACE TO WORK. There have been very serious injuries there throughout the years. Their ramp equipment is old and safety according to them is # 1, but I didn’t see that when working there a short time. I left because I was afraid of being badly hurt. Not a great thing coming from a retired firefighter. Don’t work 9:54 for them no matter how much more they pay you! TRUST ME!!

Amazon, could currently help DHL at this moment, along with shipping & Printing stores, like FedEx Kinkos....Also a sponsorship deal with the North American professional top flight soccer league, "MLS" (Major League Soccer)..could help the U.S. market familiarize itself with the company...Also other major North American professional sports leagues & popular sports pro franchises could help DHL build familiarity with U.S. & Canadian market like the NFL, NHL, MLB, and marque sports franchises like the Lakers, Knicks, Yankees, Cubs, Warriors the U.S. soccer federation

I work for a contractor for DHL now. Been with them for over 6 years now. Pay started at 13 / hour when I started and now starts at 18.50. The benefits are horrible though an no 401k even though I was told when I was hired it would start in a few months. That's the cheap contractors fault though, not DHL. No one works 40 hours a week. It's more like 45 minimum to 60 plus for drivers. I pretty much see new employee's ever other week since most people only last a few weeks then quits. It's pretty hard to get fired unless you really screw up bad and even then they might rehire you in a few weeks ( has happened a few times already ).

DHL will be out of business in a couple of years. They're slow as fuck. I ordered some face mask from Walmart. The seller is from Houston. He shipped by DHL and USPS. DHL picked up the package on April 4th. Supposed to transfer it to the post office. It's the 14th of April. I tracked the package. The package is still in North Houston. It's currently being transferred to the USPS. Fuck it's going to take a couple more days for my package to arrive. It's supposed to been delivered by the 13th of April.

@@sharonwilson8279 My effort at trolling have clearly gone over your head. What you seem to be clueless to is the company wide practice taken on by DHL since the shakeup since the pandemic. DHL, has systematically been dumping the express packages that myself and countless others pay top floor for onto the local postal system rather than make the deliveries themselves. This practice although not illegal is what has damaged their reputation worldwide. DHL has been on a warpath to delete any and all complaints on most social media platforms while trying to look like they give a crap. If DHL had any integrity left, they would at least let the customer base know ahead of time that their express services are not working and refuse to take people's money, or at least refund them for lying and misleading for the sake of maintaining cash flow.
I know they are an important global shipping magnate and have used them for years with express deliveries back and forth to my Chinese manufacturing partners.
