I accidentally bought the wrong brush last week for a lettering project. So here i am, with this brush i didnt originally want and now your video. How amazing is that? Cool gift from the universe
Oh my gosh…that was a beautiful explanation. You have such a calming voice and are an excellent teacher. This is a video that I’ll watch repeatedly. Thank you 😊
Lo escuché y algo entendí, más cuando ví la relación con Budha, entendí un poco más. Fue un regalo asombroso que me ayuda a calmarme aunque debe haber una técnica. Gracias
Outstanding video, I really appreciate the quality and sharing your approach and integration of Spiritual Practices allowing you to Channel Life though your art ♥️♥️♥️✨
Your words touched me deeply. Then I read some more on your website and came across your book about love. Your wisdom resonates with me so much. And this resonance feels like alignment. I wonder: Do you know of the Teachings of Abraham (by Esther Hicks)? All you are talking about is just a perfect match to their material. And I have the feeling it could be the next logical step for you. Especially the material on topics like unconditional alignment and vibration. All the best to you and your inner art :) You got me inspired.
In my humble understanding, once one becomes enlightened, he/she becomes beyond "logical steps". Peter is a spiritual teacher and he has been on this journey for over 40 years
There’s a story about a person who wanted to build a cannon. When he asked how to do it, he was told: find a hole and enclose it with steel. He spent the rest of his time looking in vain for a hole. It looks like the same process in hitsuzendo: find an emptiness and surround it in ink.
7:19 : that something else is not other than you. so, how is it something else? is it (not) the sound of one hand that we hear in seeing the records? 👑 🤍 love, David
Not paint. Sumi ink. Chinese brushes are available at several art stores online. Some of mine I bought at Asian antique stores. Others were given to me by other artists.
Insightful! Emptying the self before creative endravors is always a great idea. Thank you much, you're presence truly shines through in this video. I intend to create an enso ring for my next EP album artwork 😄

Thank you, Catherine.
Painter here, you have hit on something, sometimes I make work that I can’t recreate, and begin to doubt I did it in the first place.

This is so beautiful, crystal clear and insightful.Thank you sir. I bow to you.Gasso.
Reminds me of my Kyudo teacher. He speaks to calmly, it looks as if he's whispering.

Thank you, Zeth.
Fantastic!
your words give a feeling
Endless gratitude.💫
Beautifully said! 🙏🏼
I don't think there is that separation between art and spirituality. Art in its deeper sense is a path to awaking.
Thank you so much.
+ 1 BIG like 🙏
What kind of paper do I need ?
We’re can I buy ?
Thanks 🙏
Love it ☺
very good
Hi Peter, thank you very much for yr insightful explanation. Question: what do you think about the Buddha Board??? grettings from Berlin
I like using a Buddha board. What you paint disappears. This helps you let go of attachment and remain in the flow of life.
True words, agree 100% 🙏

Where do you get these brushes?
Most were from antique stores, some I bought from online art stores, and some a friend gifted me with.

Hi thank you for sharing! I’d love to buy a high quality large brush to get started. Do you have a link or suggestions?
You can try Blick's or Amazon. It's a little harder to get brushes from China these days.
Wise words from an experienced man, but what I don't like is that he doesn't show any scrolls
All this is lovely. However, hitsuzendo is the name of a particular school and lineage of zen buddhist art and calligraphy from Japan.
Yes it is.
The Zenlightened brushing a way ...
Not yet.

Thank you 😊
