Ahhhhh a Spooky Epicaness masterpiece. Love the clash between the classical music and metal from Epica all in a spooky way...now we call it Efteling Metal. This song was live with the full orchestra and choir so good with The Symphonic Synergy, don't you think Kyle?? Thanks for this one and i will join the premiere! 🔥🤘🏻
you are right Kyle. i love them too for their versatility. this band is for all ages and all tastes. this concert also had a great jazzy version of "beyond the matrix" and both of these songs (+ghost in me) became my favorites at this concert. real surprises for fans. great interpretation of classics. the orchestra conductor was mexican and he already shared information that in mexico this concert will be held on an even bigger scale (orchestra for 100+ musicians and the hall will also be bigger). i envy them, they are in for a great show 😁
There is a whole lore on Efteling/Spookslot/Danse Macabre, that is engrained in Dutch culture. The original classical piece is Danse Macabre, written by Camille Saint-Saëns in 1875(!)
