I interviewed Al Campbell years ago & he clearly admited this was not his song (still he enjoyed making specials of it under request), Al revoiced it for his "Studio One tribute" album a few years ago & he said it was a bredda named Alan Campbell who did sing it... I also Interviewed Johnny Osbourne and he was sure that it was a Freddy McKay tune, when I told him what Al Campbell was saying, he insisted that it was Freddie Mckay & that he even saw Freddy sing it live in his shows.. seen !
Wow I would've though all Campbell's disclosure is final, but Now Johnny Osbourne's admissions only add to the confusion. I'd really like to know the truth.

No Freddie McKay. These is a guy who does extensive Studio One history research. He interviewed the man who sang it.
