@66PaleRider You're one lucky bastard, that's what you are! =D (Thanks for uploading these videos, though - I hope to see The Wizard live in Belgium next time I'm there.) ;]
@NRRRDLemur14 Most likely is that she wanted some instrument louder on her monitor and the only way to let the sound people know, was through the mic of Jus. I think he says something like 'Give her more drums in front.'
@jazzaholick thx dude I had a good position right in front of the stage, next to the PA system. So my (photo)camera picked up the stage sound in stead of the 'overall' sound. That sound is usually way too loud for a camera. Now it's kinda acceptable.
A lot of the riffs on that album sound similar. The Witchcult and The Chosen Few riffs have almost exactly the same rhythm, but Witchcult goes lower whereas TCF goes higher.
@QOTSA1337 Well if you listen to the whole album you'll realize there are many riffs that are pretty similar. The only difference is that they aren't the same, because, for instance, one riff is played backwards(or otherwise) in comparison to another riff from another song, you know? There are at least 2 identical riffs on this album. Compare the riff from "Satanic Rites of Drugula" with the riff from "Torquemada '71".
joeythepirate Sound City amps. Not sure what type but I remember it said something with the number "150" in it. I was there that night. Man they played loud. PA system was unnecessary :-D
My pleasure ;-)
Gig was well worth driving 100 miles from Rotterdam (NL) to Aarschot (BE)
