Discover clear waters and a vast stretch of sand at Crystal Beach in Fort Erie, Ontario.
Also known as Crystal Sands Beach and Bay Beach, this bustling lakeside community is situated on the shores of Lake Erie.
Welcome everyone. Today we are taking a sightseeing walk in Crystal Beach, Ontario. Crystal Beach is a place I have many fond memories of growing up. ❤️
We walk down the street along Erie Road and Derby Road visiting a few of the shops along the way such as the Hot Dog Alley Collectable stoe, CQ store which has everything beautiful for your home, and we go inside the flower & plant shop to see all the amazing greenery. Check them out if your in town. We also go to Bay Beach / Crystal Beach and enjoy a walk on the beach by Lake Erie. It’s a hot summer day at the beach with many people enjoying swimming and sunbathing on the beach.
On a clear day you can see the city of Buffalo across the lake.

Yes this was my childhood every summer when the amusement park was there. Our families would picnic there. So much fun with the cousins the beach was fun

Nice walk, strolling in the water and the ice cream was definitely needed to cool down Shame the old parks closed, used to go to Boblo Island near Windsor but it closed in 93.

I enjoyed the tour of Crystal Beach and hearing about the amusement park. The shops and restaurants look so charming. I enjoy little towns like this. The antique shop was very neat to explore - it must take a while to clean up at the end of the day and bring everything back inside. The walk along the beach was really nice, too. Hello Christine, I absolutely enjoyed this walk seeing all the varied shops and places with those lovely pieces and antiques and memorables and hearing your memories of your home area from bygone days to current times viewing, it was a one on one tour without interruption from the usual busy chat of other minds cutting the narriative, it is very calm and peaceful there another world away from the busy outer world, creates calm minds, even the crowds on the public beach were peaceful enjoying the crystal clear calm waters, those sand ripples seen beneath the water were laid in a calm geomatric pattern also, I would certainly love to visit the area and beach and take a quiet paddle in one of those inflatable canoes, you closed with a calm cold Ice Cream, thanks for your time and presentation to do that for us.

I thought you would enjoy that antique and collectable shop, so many cool finds and I know I can easily spend a long time in there browsing and probably leave with a few things lol. The CQ store is great with so many nice things for your home, I bought a fish tea light holder and a starfish from there and I have my eye on the mermaid. Hi Chris it looked gorgeous here at Crystal beach and you must have some fabulous memories here. It looked really quiet and calm with some lovely shops with nice things for sale. Oooo milkshake and ive cream sound so good! The beach itseld was so pretty and quite a few people were out but like you said, it wasnt too busy. Definitely a place to visit if you're near there. Ahhh, beautiful Lake Erie. The water looked so clear on the beach. As you know, I am on the southern shore of Lake Erie in Ohio. There are several wonderful towns dotted along the coast in Ohio and PA. I am so thankful to be near the lake. You are doubly lucky as you have both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
On my visits, I really need to expand my horizons and explore areas outside Niagara Falls and NOTL. Your videos have given me so many new places to explore. The only problem is when I arrive in Canada I just want to get to Niagara Falls and stay there, lol. Whenever I visit, I always get to the Falls around 10am and have several hours to kill before checking into the hotel. Thanks to this video, I have decided that on my next visit, once I cross over Peace Bridge, I'm heading directly to Crystal Beach to walk around and check it out. I've also always wanted to visit Old Fort Erie so maybe I'll do that too.

Hi Tom. Yes I remember that your in Ohio. Must be nice to live where you are close to the lake and having other beautiful towns to visit along the coast. Lol I can understand that when you get to Canada you just want to get to the falls!!! I think you would like Crystal Beach, if you go up that hill I mentioned at the beginning where there is a boat launch, there’s a nice park and a nice view of Buffalo if it’s a clear day. I went a little further for a drive down Erie Rd and it’s really nice with many homes and cottages and mature trees…there’s also a road at the end called Point Albino Road and I think it takes you to a lighthouse. Nice drive to Crystal beach too, little towns like Stevensville and Ridgeway along the way. Thanks for coming along for the walk. Have a great week. Oh I believe that waffle treat is made with Crystal beach waffles which have been a popular waffle made back from the amusement park days…really good 👍! Beach delivery is great!

Most of the FL beaches on the east coast are protected for sea turtles and other sea creatures.
Now is the season for sea turtles' nesting season..yellow tapes everywhere on the beach.

Hi Ms. kayak 😊☕️! Hope all is well with you. I have wonderful memories of visiting the beach and town with my mom and family. Back when they had an amusement park here, the town was lively with people and steam ships would bring large amounts of visitors to the town. Sadly no more amusement park or steam ship but the memory lives on. You noticed the kayaks lol..see you can come visit and go kayaking. Thanks for taking time to come on the walk in Crystal Beach. I wish the amusement park was still around. I feel like it would be a HUGE attraction now. I believe that is free parking at 10:47 in the video. Hotel Philco has so many cool looking rooms! I want to do some room reviews there. I love the tropical shirts and there is one shop down there that has awesome Crystal Beach shirts ( I know all of the shops have them but this one shop has the best). I don't know how some shops are boarded up on Derby Rd. I saw hot dog alley from far away and though it was a bunch of hot dog stands lol I wish we would have went! Do you know when it's closing? I hear Southcoast is good too. Joanne loves that store at 21:55 . I like the Star Wars/Toy section lol. lol Joanne loves The Green House too. Beach delivery is a great idea! I want to try Casa Hugo. $10 isn't bad to park right across the street from the beach really. I wish it didn't cost to get in to the beach though. That water is so clear!! I still can't believe I've never been on that beach. Is there a snack bar on the beach? That's awesome you have so many memories there! Hi Adam. I wish the amusement park was still there along with many others who feel the same way. There’s so many nice shops here! It’s such a great part of town to spend the day. I think near the entrance of the beach is a snack bar but I didn’t go close enough to see. I parked far away for free. The water was nice and warm and I wanted to go right in lol. Yes we have to pay…isn’t it sad. A few years back it was free. Some beaches are free but you still have to pay to park and that was also free a few years ago. Your lucky. Thanks for stopping by. 😊🇨🇦

The earlier you get there the better it is to find parking and a good spot on the beach especially on a weekend, but it’s open late. Hope that helps you! 😊🇨🇦
