These were delicious looking meals that would definitely warm me up in the winter. Oatmeal is a favourite of mine and I like to vary what I add into it; hempseeds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, nuts and nut butter, fruits and as a Canadian, I add a bit of maple syrup. Roasted vegetables are yummy and I enjoy how they taste different when roasted. I might prepare some roasted vegetables this week with chickpeas and quinoa. During the colder months this is comfort food at its most wonderful 😋
It sounds like we like many of the same flavours and foods in winter! Hope you get those veggies roasting, sounds like a yummy combo you have planned 😊🤗
More great winter meal ideas in what Malin ate in a day video and the apple compote looks yummy 😋 and I will have to try it. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕❤Malin & Rob.
I'm always astonished with the quality and visible care you put in each of your videos. They're such a pleasure to watch, inspiring and relaxing! I really enjoy how not only recipe-making is shown, but also bits of your day, out and about. Thank you for sharing! Lots of good wishes
Looks wonderful!! I have most items on hand...that will be my dinner tonight!! You are a excellent cook/chef & everything you make looks delicious!! Thanks for sharing!!😊💕I always look forward to seeing your videos!💗💕💖
Just a fun tip...I learn SO MUCH from you, so maybe it will help you in return.... but I just use my vegetable peeler on my butternut squash, works wonderfully. Thank you for sharing, you inspire me in so many ways. Peace and Merry Christmas! Erin, Holland, Michigan
Yeah fellow Aries! Out of curiosity, what is Rob’s star sign? Always curious when it comes to well paired couples. Delicious mixed bowl. Will need to try it!
Looks grand & it will work well for meal prep if I keep the roasted veggies separate from the cold components. Will have to experiment with the toaster oven and the microwave to see which might be the better way to warm up the veggies for a work lunch. So great to see another video from you! Do you think “warming” foods are due to spices? Roasting &/or toasting components? You mentioned root vegetables being grounding for us…do you see grounding as connected to warming? Just curious and happy to learn… Maybe you have already done one or mire of these and I’m forgetting but I e would love to see: (a) a vegan take on a tuna nicoise, (b) a warm dressing for a Fall or Winter salad, & (c) a few salads with significant quantities (like half the plate, Starch Solution ) of resistant starch or a few 50/50 style plates or bowls. Happy holidays to you & Rob!
Thank you for your message and ideas! Hope the veggies serve you well and yes perfect for meal plan is you separate things a little like you said 😊 I think warming has something to do with how it feels when I eat the food I guess. I decibel think warm roasted vegetables in a salad or bowl makes it more hearty and warming than say raw grated ones or simply chopped like tomatoes or cucumber. I think spices can definitely add a warming element to foods. And yes, I suppose I think of many foods that feel grounding as foods that are warming too. But the preparation of them can change them from just being grounding to being both grounding and warming, like with roasting roots. I take a little bit of inspiration from a macrobiotics course I took a while back in all this but I think I've just adopted a little bit of the knowledge, the parts that felt right for me I guess. 😊 Many thanks for the suggestions for upcoming videos, I'll dwindling take them into account! 🤗
Thank you, I'm glad you like the look of the food! I don't count calories and try to eat as intuitively as I can while trying to make sure that I get a good variety of nutrients in most days 😊
Your videos are so soothing to watch!
Everything looked so delicious! I think I might make the same dinner tonight 😊

I´ll definitely be making the dip for the vegetables - I would have never thought of using lemon zest, but it looks and sounds delicious! :)
Yes, it really brings an intense citrus flavour, so yummy 😊 I hope you like it!
What were the spices used??? Couldn't read the containers
@@sapphire22011 it was Simple Organics "pepper and more" and citrus seasoning 😊
Very nice and delicious recipe thanks for sharing your valuable experience 👍💐🌹
The dishes look delicious Malin! I couldn't see what spices you used in the crème fraiche mixture, but it looked good.

I love Sweden's maskless society and Herd immunity model
No quinoa?
Okay this is random, but I never would have pegged you for an Aries. I think though that’s because I was born and raised in the States though.
Haha, no I might come off a little more mellow than my star sign would suggest 😅😊
“Warming meals” high drama around food.
