Hey Danny ‘Mr Peaky Blinder’. That Mac and Cheese with Crispy Mushrooms looked sensational. The squealer with it’s chilli jam looked liked a fine old sandwich. Great to see you back in Scotland even if its to try Canadian food 🤔🤔, anyway there's a place called Oink in a street called West Bow in Edinburgh, they have a whole roast pig in the window and they make pulled pork sandwiches from it, delicious .
And if you ever come back to Scotland, come up and see us in Oban. The Seafood Shack on the pier next to the ferry terminal - fish and shellfish to die for. Wait until Spring, when it opens after the winter and the weather’s better.
"Down The hatch" is what is sometimes said right before downing a short, such as whiskey or brandy. That grub looked so good and the service was great. Her voice and accent made me melt! :D

Hi Mate, great to see you in Edinburgh. I love that city. No idea how long you are in town but if you have time, check out this Italian Deli across the road called Valvona & Crolla. It has been around forever and has some great produce in there. I am not suggesting that you do a food eating video there but just to see the place and what it sells. It is steeped in history and famous. Cheers Mate.
If you're in Edinburgh, you HAVE to go to Edinburgh Street Food. Absolutely amazing selection of different types of food. Bucks Bar (in both Edinburgh and Glasgow) is absolutely fabulous too.

People always talk about how posh Edinburgh is but I've not really found it different than any other city. It has posh areas and it has rough parts. I wouldn't call Pilton, Niddrie, Dalkeith, Sighthill or Wester Hailes posh.
Edinburgh is a lovely place to visit. And a load of places to eat. Glasgow really surprised us very enjoyable. As was Elgin and Glen Eagles Hotel for afternoon tea. Elgin area is maybe our favourite area. Stayed at the Kellas Estate really a nice spot next to the trout fishing lakes.,
Need to go to Kebab Mahal in Nicholson Square in Edinburgh, won best take away in Scotland a few times. Get the Karahi Gohst and Karahi Murgh. Both are fantastic 😋
Nah, used to be good years ago, you just have to avoid the rats just outside in Nicholson Square.. And the curries in Scotland are shit compared to what he'll get in Leeds and especially Bradford.
Considering the UK's favourite curry was invented in Scotland, they can hold their own up here. KM won another award in 2023 too, so must be doing something right. 😊
There’s a place on the outskirts of Edinburgh called south Queensferry, there’s another down the hatch with more American themed menu, the burgers are really nice and they have a lot of buffalo sauce dishes. There’s also a place there called the Bodrum which do really nice hoagie wraps
Food is great at Down the Hatch, they also have an easier more accessible venue in South Queensferry (which I was at 30 minutes ago). Can't knock this place for value or taste. So good.
Danny, if you’re still in central Scotland please go and try the 3 little pigs in Falkirk. You won’t be disappointed. It’s hard to recommend something from the menu because it’s all amazing. Make sure to have a go at the cookie pies 💯
