I just finished season 1, I played as Breeze. Definitely came in clutch but I’ll definitely do it earlier than RIGHT at the end of season 1. After seeing this video, after season 1, Steph is S tier.
A little late to the party, you’re missing the big thing with the Free Superstar. Not only do you save 130k on a star for 10 weeks; but if you get someone with 5/5 on the mic, you can reap 10 weeks of advertising/charity promos and really not loose popularity. Could be helpful early on for more money, could be helpful later on in a season for more fans
Finally, a DECENT 2k23 mygm video by DL. Your only mistake was not putting Xavier with Steph in S tier. Just getting a free superstar from an opposing brand is good enough, and if your opponent has Brock vs Finn in week 1 for the title, per say, and Finn somehow wins, guess what? Brock's yours the next week. Everyone can't be champ, so you'll still get a main-event talent from that card. Even if Xavier isn't tops, Xavier+NXT 2.0 is the best brand+GM combination in the game.
When the DLC of Bray Wyatt comes out, sign him to your GM with much hype, only to use him in promos for months on end, with no payoff or matches, and then get an "injury" before Wrestlemania.
Woods is S tier for sure Best way to use is on week 3 or 4, you wait till the superstar's popularity increases and rivalry also increases And just before the ppv boom you steal one of the most popular superstar which having a rivalry too Also good if it's someone's tag partner
I wish the differences in playing as and against different GM's would have a larger impact than just a single power card. If different AI GM's had different tendencies, that could add a lot of replayability to the game. Some would perhaps value drafting wrestlers with high stamina in the draft, another one prefer a larger roster, one more focused on drafting women. Imagine if playing as different GM's had different challenges or problems to solve. 2k could add a lot of replayability to this game mode by adding a few things
Missed opportunity for Mick Foley to have large rosters with a hardcore/extreme rules affinity, where even though some of his dudes may get injured or low on stamina, he can just put on another barn burner the next week. And maybe using power cards to heal Superstars so he can put on a high rating bloodbath rivalry, making him a wild card of a threat to your own shows
What's nice with these is that, similar to regular Power Cards, you just don't have to use them and can save them up across multiple seasons. If you're doing well enough to be on par or have a bit of a lead for the first couple seasons... save some of these for when it gets rough later. Xavier taking one person hurts for a little bit. Xavier taking a wrestler for several weeks and completely screwing Rivalries left and right is nuts. Tyler Breeze is also another super nice card for something like that, not only allowing you to keep your roster going as stated, but ALSO putting out the bigger matches in later seasons when you have more money to pay for them and get the bonus fans and everything else? Hell yeah.
I gotta agree with the Xavier Woods placement. Me, my dad, and my brother are doing a MyGM and my dad chose Xavier. It was about half way in season 1 where I found a permanent John Cena for 200,000+. I'm NXT 2.0 so I use my card to half 3 free agent costs. I book John in a title match the week I get him too. My dad comes up and he steals John Cena from me. John Cena won the belt, and left. My title was vacant. So that was fun! 😂
I've been using Eric for 8 seasons now I've been dominating since seasons 1 mainly because of my amazing booking but that card is definitely helpful whenever you're low on cash especially for ple I always book the stadium for 250k which running my whole show cost between 400k and 600k for each show depending on my match types. Eric has been the best for my playstyle
For me Breeze is in A tier as it is very very useful in later weeks of the season And adam peirce is just B tier bcoz of the call-out promo i can use anytime
They need to add a gm promo where you can go out and hype a match raising the match rating by a star or something or a gm interference you press r2+O (or b) for screwjob
They wanted to save it for the year WrestleMania in Philly, probably have a whole ECW theme next year, like it be showcased about Paul Heyman next year for WWE 2K24 like this year was John Cena. I mean I think that would be awesome, go back and re play moments in Paul Heymand career, from ECW to WWE, & every superstars run while he was their manager. Idk... I see it... I think it would be great, probably rival 2K19 with Undertaker's Mania streak. My opinion tho.
or maybe something like, choose an opposing brand's tag team (including champions) and force them to face a tag team on your brand's show for this week. so you can force an interbrand rivalry for your show's ratings to skyrocket and maybe even injure that other team. or win their belts and force that brand to vacate their brand's tag team belts
You said with kurt angles card you only gain 15/20k fans but being that it doubles the effect of charity promos youre gaining 30/40k fans which can be very big
@@WrestlingLobby I find Kurt to be insanely overpowered, All the others really situational, I made RAW number 1 on the hardest settings by using Kurt's card on PLE's and if you can get cards that increase fan attendance then your making more than 15k-20k or even more than 30k-40k.
@ScaroBoodblade unfortunately the game is extremely easy to beat even on the hardest settings, so the card wouldn't have made a massive difference. Yes, you can pair it with other cards that increase fan attendance, but other brands can still use those fan attendance cards too. The two don't multiply together to make anything game breaking, it's a tiny difference overall.
I just hate not being able to see WCW titles during entrances on the PC version. Not sure if any other versions have this issue. But also, why not have the big gold belt as the world title? Lol

Been playing as Bischoff for the last week against Woods, Tyler and Stephanie. She has just been kicking my ass.
