I've never enjoyed a perfume review more. Very thorough and eye-opening, with contrasting, yet well-balanced viewpoints. Used to wear this one in 2011 while living in NYC, so I'm gonna make a nostalgia repurchase today ordering it online. It's the most original fragrance out there and after finishing my bottle my closet smelled like Womanity for months.
This is one of my favorite perfumes ever. I get all of the fig components, the saltiness, and a faint smell of cigarettes ( in the very best way possible).

I’ve genuinely never smelled a more beautiful perfume. Nothing even close. I have purchased 10+ bottles over the years. I think I got my first one the year it came out! I have noticed a slight change in the fragrance over the years and it has become hard to buy. I just got a new bottle a month ago by some miracle. I had been transitioning to Aura because I was right at the bottom of my last bottle haha.

Alien always smelled like an alien to me because when I first smelled it I immediately thought that it was the exact smell my imagination created when I was reading about the flower blooming alien from 2010: Odyssey Two.. Though, I see what you all mean by it should have been Alien because the whole concept of Womanity sounds like the fragrance Grace Jones's character wanted to create in Boomerang. I also wouldn't care about the titles so I definetely agree with you all. If only they could name this Strangé...

You were totally right dear dacob.J’adore womanity! It reminds me a lot one of my summer in cyprus,in particular fig bay tree at sunset ...the warm and enveloping sea breeze and the scent of milky and fruity fig,so wonderful!!
All of the (post-Thierry Mugler “cursive” era) bottles were manufactured for CFG, so it’s not a L’Oréal abomination- thank God! It is discontinued, unfortunately. Mugler sells the Mfd for CFG version on their site. At least it died with dignity. I don’t think the online social media community idea was too terrible. After all, we do have really engaging social media fragrance sites today. I think the idea was ahead of its time. The metal hardware reflects strength to me. Mugler creations, because of their eccentricity, can take time to warm up to. I think that could be why it wasn’t as successful in the market. I think this one was ahead of its time. I adore it! And the performance is top notch. It is absolutely niche quality. Great value.
Got it today for my girlfriend. She was shoked by the bottle! And for me, i can say that the power of this perfume will beat every peace of crap controversy and reviews ever and will triumph over all, forever.... Thank you Thierry for let me have this smell today in 2021! A*MEN!
i have been loving this perfume ever since i got it back in 2015 . i still have the same bottle because it smells devine on me . very unusual . spicy, fresh, crisp, celery-ish, bell pepper-ish, salty, sweet, savoury . definitely an androgynous perfume . very strong projection and lasts all day . 🤍

So I was shopping on SaksOff5th's website and I saw this perfume and looked up reviews and of course yours popped up. I just ordered it and I'm excited. It only took me a year and a half later to be convinced 😂😂😂😂
I would’ve leant into the Art Deco or gothic idea and named it something connected to that. Actually with someone’s comment on metropolis they could’ve called it metropolis

I bought this perfume and i really liked it. The marketing is bad. Just ignore the genders. Imagine it as an alien/Egyptian magic perfume. Womanity is a bad name and it doesn't fit the perfume. I would love this on a man's skin. It's genderless and magic. The ring is for magic Egyptian power and not for marriage .

I feel like i wouldn't like pink if i were a girl because it is so thrust upon them but i love pink so much!! It makes any other color look cute!:p I like the face on the bottle and the little chain! Love your videos Dacob!!
I am. A girl and I absolutely hate the colour pink all pinks look tacky and cheap But I can deal with the pink colour perfume of womanity it's a gorgeous scent
The marketing was absolutely the downfall of this perfume. What put me off from actually buying this 10 years ago was that I was loathe to have on my bedside table a pink pillar that represents a complete parody of feminism. It was, in short, insulting and debasing.

I have this perfume and it’s gorgeous. My husband bought it for me years ago, I still have half a bottle left and it’s turned yellow.

Its quite salty in the opening but then turns more sweet figgy in the dry-down.
When you said “smells like shoulder pads” was so ready did you to say “smells like DYNASTY” that show from the 80s....

Older versions before reformulations are way better and stronger.
