This game is full of different types of fish, and is really based on exploration. There are shell collectibles to be found, you gain a neat prize after you collect all 3 per level! I know you would love this game! :)
This game really makes you think about what is happening to our oceans! There a very few parts that look like this now! I am always making posters about how to help save the ocean and what we are doing to them, but people just ignore them! I find it so frustrating that alot of people don’t care about these incredible underwater cities that in a few decades will probably be empty if we don’t do anything! #Saveouroceans!

Okay, so after finishing the video- oh man I hope you play longer episodes. Also, you have already unlocked and found more of those little creature releasing points than anyone else I have seen playing this game (Stacyplays only found ONE in that first section!). I will warn you there are a few jump scare points (The ocean can be scary), so always enter new areas slowly and cautiously and you might avoid a few of them (I think they're triggered by swimming right into open areas without pausing to assess the place first). I really hope you continue to take as much time in all the upcoming areas as you are here! I can't wait to hear your insight onto what everything means and how you interpret what is going on on that beautiful world. Pay attention to all the ruins, remember that some of it is a puzzle game. Everyone else is finishing this game in under 2 hours... with how methodical and enchanted you are by the sea life- I'm hoping your playthrough takes much much longer. My only tip (without spoiling anything) is- Don't play to get to the end, to finish the game. Enjoy the Journey, and see every part of it. You've already discovered more in a single area than I saw others find in /three/. Also, when you meditate, the fish names are on the bottom right hand corner of the screen! You saw, in order: Goliath Grouper Anchovy (your tiny shark. :) ) Female California Sheephead (Briefly, the solid red fish) Yellow Tang (Yellow Angelfish-like fish) Goliath Grouper again Anchovy again Male California Sheephead (the red and black striped one)
I'm glad you're taking the time to explore everything, some of those little coral circles that summon the fish can be easy to miss ;o; I'm sure I missed some myself. When you meditate and view each of the fish, it says the name in the lower right corner of the fish you're viewing c: The yellow ones were Yellow Tangs, and the little 'sharks'/baby fish were actually anchovies xD You can ride most of the larger animals too, like the Leopard Sharks and turtles. As long as you're close enough to them, pressing the 'ride' button and holding it will automatically pull her towards the fish. Later on there's some animals you can ride and jump out of the water. Also the interaction/talk button seems to draw a lot of a fish to you when you use it.
This game is gorgeous and the genuine amazement and awe in your voice is making me tear up somehow, your enthusiasm for nature inspires mine and makes me so happy to hear and watch. I can't wait to watch more of this from you

Anybody else watch Seri's Abzû series to help fall asleep? They're not boring or anything, it's just that her voice, the music, and game overall is very calming. Also, her laugh just puts me in a good mood, man.
For anyone that didn't spot it themself yet you can see the species of fish and other creatures while medetating. It shows up in the bottom right corner, same spot as when new creatures are released :) If you know your fish you could probably figure out a few on your own~ The amount of detail put into making everything look like the real life counter parts is amazing!

Hey Seri, there's some small things you probably don't know about the game yet: If you swim to a surface fast enough, you can do a flip! You can also flip underwater to get a boost (sorry but I don't know how to do it). You probably didn't noticed, but when you meditate the name of the creature shows up on the bottom right of the screen. Also, don't forget to ride the creatures! You can ride anything that are at least as big as your torso. Hope this helps a little! I love Abzu so much and I'm so happy you're playing! Can't wait for the next part 😄!

I always watch the little nature documentaries and at around the age of 5 I already new the names of most of the worlds marine mammals I remember when my parents would take me to the Dallas Aquarium and I would just sit there watching the fish swim by now i barely get to go but when I do I sure to enjoy it!
If you ever get the chance to do so, visit the Atlanta Aquarium. And bring back up memory cards for your camera, because oh my gosh. It is SO amazing. The VIP tour is really cool to do, too. It's only about $15 more dollars than admission and you get to go behind the scenes and see all the pumps and filter systems, and the baby fish nursery and the veterinary clinic, and get to see the giant trapdoor they lifted the WHALESHARKS through. Yes. Whalesharks. There are /four/.

Hey Seri! If you like this game you should really try out Endless Ocean: Blue World for the Nintendo Wii (if you have the system that is xD) It's a lot like this game just not as jaw-droppingly pretty :3 It has a great mystery plot also!
