I think what really makes these collaborations impressive is the fact that you guys aren’t in the same place recording everything. I’ve always wondered how you guys assign parts for the vocals. It has to be somewhat difficult all being in different places, but the effort you put in each and every time is appreciated. This cover turned out to be awesome, and it’s probably my favorite cover of Black Parade. Thanks for all the hard work you guys put in to do this, I’ll have to check out the full album cover.
As the producer (Brad) I must commend Addie for assembling vocal parts for the 3 girls. She has really become quite good at knowing how to divy up the vocals, harmonies with multiple vocalists. She usually will record everything vocally, then send them to the girls based off strengths as a team rather than strengths as an individual singer. With 3 singers it's about making the best sounding entourage. Even if that means sometimes one girl may be better suited for a solo part... So we try to think what works best singing together. Luckily it's not rocket science... Violet slays the lows, Lauren has the mids, and Addie the is the bright top end. You'd be surprised though sometimes the girls do switch parts up. When I'm mixing them all singing unison, they start to sound like 1 big voice and it's hard to tell who is who at times. It's really awesome. Lastly, once in a blue moon I layer in Laurens screams with some of mine. They're totally different styles but make awesome layers. These MCR songs were all Lauren tho.

I was never a My Chemical Romance fan growing up. I was already older than most of their fan base by the time they broke big and honestly my preferred genre was European style symphonic heavy metal. (Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Rhapsody of Fire, Kamelot, Startovarius, etc.) I first heard this song when Johnathan Young covered it several years ago with Caleb Hyles, and was instantly hooked by the melodies, the jams, and the energy. Now, years later, since my own father has recently joined the Black Parade on February 20, 2021, your AMAZING version just hits the heart so much harder. I literally burst into tears listening to it and it was such a beautiful, painful, and HEALING experience that I can barely find the proper words to express the emotions that were released. DON'T EVER STOP MAKING MUSIC!

i really love the harmony that MCR sings in the chorus (the third over the melody note), which Gerard Way normally would do during a live while Ray Toro took over the melody line. I missed that harmony here but then I realized the guitar carries it in this version (it carries on lol)

Pressed the like button as soon as I heard Lauren's metal raspy breathy scream. I love how different all three girls voices are: Violet's is low but still female, Halocene's is a bit more pop-like but still sounds great and Lauren's is slightly raspy and she's like a female Jonathan Young in a way (cos they complemented each other very well vocally when they collaborated)

I was never a My Chemical Romance fan growing up. I was already older than most of their fan base by the time they broke big and honestly my preferred genre was European style symphonic heavy metal. (Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Rhapsody of Fire, Kamelot, Startovarius, etc.) I first heard this song when Johnathan Young covered it several years ago with Caleb Hyles, and was instantly hooked by the melodies, the jams, and the energy. Now, years later, since my own father has recently joined the Black Parade on February 20, 2021, your AMAZING version just hits the heart so much harder. I literally burst into tears listening to it and it was such a beautiful, painful, and HEALING experience that I can barely find the proper words to express the emotions that were released. DON'T EVER STOP MAKING MUSIC!

I saw Halocene while watching Paramore from 7 years ago. They put the cam right on her (going nuts) just like Hayley. She announced it in the comments and what minute and second to go to for lol proof. I thought she looked familiar and looked at her name and on and on ...Busted Halocene! She's so dayam amazing. i really love the harmony that MCR sings in the chorus (the third over the melody note), which Gerard Way normally would do during a live while Ray Toro took over the melody line. I missed that harmony here but then I realized the guitar carries it in this version (it carries on lol)

One of my favorite things to notice is when you can tell how much fun an artist is having singing. I see that with Lauren and I only get glimpses with the others from behind the scenes videos. I love it!!

Pressed the like button as soon as I heard Lauren's metal raspy breathy scream. I love how different all three girls voices are: Violet's is low but still female, Halocene's is a bit more pop-like but still sounds great and Lauren's is slightly raspy and she's like a female Jonathan Young in a way (cos they complemented each other very well vocally when they collaborated)

Early on I fell madly in love with the cinematic version of this song you did, Addie's vocals on that are pristine.
