I think I know what the virtual walls are for. You can put them up where you want your walls to be, walk through them freely, to make sure the room is big enough, then, once you are happy with it, switch to the ordinary build tool.
@@buildingwithbeckyYT I have finally found out what they are for! Apparently, it's to set the boundaries for quest areas in player-made quests when walls are not an option - in gardens for example. Could be useful for you, if you decide to make some more quests in the future.
@@tatianasearle3470 I'm glad you figured it out! I actually found that out recently as well by reading a comment on someone's mod.io build! Definitely a cool thing that will come in handy
Thank you! Wish I'd known to hold down the jump button to float up in the air...it's very difficult to build a roof while standing on the ground lol. 😊
Word of advice from someone who also records with a good quality mic. The de-essor makes it to where the "s" sounds arent as strong and will blend in better with other sounds and words you say! You can do that through a DAW or pre-amp! (:
Thank you so much! I will get my little helper to look into that, as I am not good at all the tech-y stuff. That's something that bothers me too when I play back.
Yes! To make a raised look, you can use singular wall sections raised as high as you want for the foundation pieces at then place your whole floor raised up on them. For the second floor, the ceiling of your first floor is the floor for it, and then we have the various stair options
@@mistaaustin3854 i know what you mean im like im gonna create something amazing then i get on the game and my mind goes blank lol some of the creations iv seen is like crazy
The first time I enter the field, these tools are free, but then when I leave the game and enter it again to continue, they do not appear, but they remain with the defaults. Would I be able to configure it to always leave these tools on, even if I leave the game and enter dnv, it still has these tools with more options?
When you enter Sandbox mode and click on the house that you have saved, there are two options. The Edit Property one gives you all the sandbox tools. The Play/Continue one gives you the standard tool wheel.
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you SO much!
I'm glad I could help!! Let me know if you have any more questions, I could do a follow up video :)
Legendary tutorial. I was fighting for my life with the walls clipping through roofs doing it brick by brick.

That does make sense! Unfortunately I just stick with building and tearing down and repeat until I'm happy lol!

I accidentally discovered that you can set the finish of the bricks for building in sandbox mode so you don't have to finish it afterwards.
I recently accidently did that as well! Definitely handy when you know from the start which finish you want to use.
I just did this is campaign and I'm struggling to figure it out again

Oh no, lol!! I hope your roofing can be much easier now :)

Oh my gosh I haven’t been able to figure out the transform tool, thank you!!! 😭🙌
No problem! I could make a whole video just with things you can do with that tool haha so be sure to play around with it with all different items!
I think that hole is positioned perfectly! 😎
5:58 the "spotlight" is sooo usefull!
Cool! Im currently trying to build our irl house in sandbox mode :D
How do I rebuild deleted ground?
There is no way to paint grass on the floor, only on the original ground, right?
I've been overthinking basements. i didn't think about just diving into the ground under the house.
It's definitely easier to do that! Your comment also made me realize that i haven't included a basement level in a build in forever,
Congrats (merci from Quebec ♥)
Any idea how to build raised patio houses? Or second floors?

Great video it's helped ne a lot keep up the great work

Me too. I’m completely addicted to this game.

Sandbox mode can be played on console!
@@buildingwithbeckyYT tysm for replying! i don't like flipping houses but i love building lol
@@reemisaizan you're welcome! I feel the same way, lol!
How can you fly??
I press the g button but nothing happens
Hi! You need to be in the edit property mode in sandbox mode in order to fly.
Are there those mods for ps5?
Hi! There are no mods in HF2, so everything in this video should be available on PS5.
