I think the main reason they still do some opening tours is that it gets them into really big stadium venues - and the new fans they'll make. But they'll be headlining those too soon enough.
Imo, I believe it's problem with promotion. Going on small spanish radio stations in US where that's generally an older audience. And their older fans on avg don't know how to utilize social media to spread the word like the younger fans do. And they keep recommending reactions from older guys on yt with less than 5k following instead of going after the big name channels with a younger following. Until they can grab that young adult mainstream crowd, they are going to be opening like this and headling small venues. It's not enough. We can do better as fans. The world needs to know and be invested. Then we'll get headlining shows in these arenas and stadiums. Right now they just don't have enough pull to headline these venues.
Vive The Warning et vive Martin. 🤔🤗🤘🏻🤟🏻💚🤍❤⚡🟦⬜🟥🇫🇷
Energy, lightning, power, progressiveness and harmony - together. This is The Warning. The band of bands. The best on this planet! Also note these three names: Ale, Pau and Dany. They will make history! ❤❤❤❤❤
It seems like it was the best moment for them on the Canadian tour. Many people were already at the Videotron Centre when the show started and the audience was very receptive.
Experiencing Sharks Live in person is an incredible experience. Right before the “Help Me Now” it feels like a wave hits you. Hard to describe into words.
Little notes... I think this may have been their best reception so far from the Canadian tour? During Evolve, just after Pau's (longest ever?) scream Dany approaches Pau for a few moments and there is some kind of sibling communication. Dany moves away and Ale goes across to Pau for a similar communication 29:50 ish. Love how they keep in touch with each other constantly even whilst playing! I would think it would be something like... "Nailed it Pau!"
The longest screams from Pau are the ones where she speaks the less before. It gives her more breath. I've heard longer screams from her esp when they used to do evolve in the beginning without her hyping the crowd up, just doing the scream. But I think you are right, this seems like the longest on this tour...
This was my second time seeing The Warning and they just keep getting better. Before long they will be selling out arenas on their own!! This whole entire show was amazind and the audience was top notch. I was in the pit right up against barricade and everyone around us was very courteous which you don't always get.
I am running out of ways to describe my love for this band. I’ve watched just about every video and they always give me chills! One thing you may notice from the perspective of this video is that everyone in the crowd is focused on them right from the start. No one is looking around as they normally do with opening bands. When I saw them at Riotfest in Chicago a few months ago, I was right up close and I turned around to look at the crowd a few times - every person was looking at the stage! I have never seen that before and I’ve seen quite a few bands in 60 years.
Viva The Warning carajo!. 😅👍👍👍
No cualquiera.
I was there and my only complaint is that 30 minutes is way to short. So much great song left behind!!!!!! Hey @TheWarning why not come back for le festival d'été!!!!!!
¿Qué decir...? OTRO SOLIDO SHOW de las leonas The Warning. Especial mencion a tu labor, @martintwcanada. Impecable tu seguimiento. Saludos desde Argentina. 👍👍👍👍
Mucho mocho calor! 🤟 Québec City loved you. The problem with Québec city is the radio. I'm from Montreal, and whenever i go to quebec City and switch on their radio station.. it's mostly French music, not a lot of english stuff.. not like in montreal that already knows all the songs you are playing! Quebec City is the biggest fan of Metallica! And the band relish it! Most of the crowd probably heard you for the first time.. or maybe 1 or 2 of your songs... you rocked them all! Wait until the next time they get to see you! Fench guy from Montréal! You rock ✌️🤟👌♥️🇨🇦🎼🙋♂️
@@martintwcanadaI’ve been hoping they play Animosity too but I doubt it even tho I believe it’s a huge favorite of the Warning Army. I’m always surprised they keep Money; it’s my least favorite Warning song but I guess it has one of the highest views for them on YT.
Oh! I was there and somehow missed the performer at the start playing Snuff! Was a bit sad that so many people showed up *just* for Evanescence tho, such a shame they missed our girls. I want them to come back for a headlining tour, dangit! Happy to have this whole set to come back to to revisit the show. I took a few vids myself, but I was in the stands a bit further back and people kept jumping in the frame when I was trying to film :( (I also did *not* hear the mix tracks like the keyboard at the start of HYCAD, from where I was standing. I did have concert earplugs in, but I don't think it would've cut the sound off *that* much)
I get you, but in my case, I would really like if they give Money a break... I mean, is one of the few song they haven't stop playing it live, aside from Evolve. I've seen all the live shows since 2022 and it has always been included, and for me it really feels old.
Out of my 44 first concerts attended since 2023, only 4 songs were played 44 times ( Z, Choke, Money and Evolve ) 2 of them got dropped out of the set when they are openers...I'm sure we will hear them Wednesday in Toronto for the headlining and LAST show of 2024!
Jajaj yep.
And by the end of this set, The Warning Army had grown by more members...
In my opinion, The Warning should never be an opening act. They are top Notch!
I have a feeling they won't be opening for other acts for too much longer. They have too much in them, at this point.
I think the main reason they still do some opening tours is that it gets them into really big stadium venues - and the new fans they'll make. But they'll be headlining those too soon enough.
Also, touring with bands they really admire, like Muse and Halestorm.
Agreed

Funny how I didn't like Sharks when it first came out. Now it's one of my fav songs. Live version never fails
The more I listen to the warning the more favorite songs I have
