I know that Christmas originates from Jesus' birthday and has to do with religion but, (in my opinion please don't get angry lmao) it has become more of a cultural thing. My family and I celebrate Christmas even though none of us are religious except for my dad who is muslim. Its honestly just a time for us to make cookies, give gifts and listen to super fun Christmas music! edit: Obviously not bashing Rees's video or anyones religion, I just thought that I would state something that i thought :)

But idk how much my parents can afford, and since I'm now 19 and in college my parents said that I'm too old to really "ask" for things for Christmas.

My ma got me a phone/phone cases, sims 4 game pack, a gaming mouse, and bullet journaling supplies as an 'early' Christmas gift. I get stuff all throughout the year, so next year I probably won't even ask for anything. For example, I've already gotten over $100 worth of kpop albums, went on a shopping spree at the Adidas store and forever 21, I ordered a Fjallraven Kanken Mini backpack in pink, My mom gave me a smart watch, I got an instax mini camera in pink, and I'm going (hopefully) get some more school supplies today. The thing is, i don't let items get over my head. I'm always thankful, even if it's a burger I'm being given. When I get older, I'll probably donate my items to people who don't get things for Christmas.

you could also ask for other bujo swag, like a bunch of cheap washi tapes or mildliners or something also if you have a hobby/sport, you can ask for stuff related to that (for example I play volleyball, so I'm asking for some nicer kneepads, vb shoes, and a sports bag)
