Laotians have similar sticky rice wrapped and steamed in coconut milk and with different fillings like small banana, etc. Mostly eaten during festivals or special occasions. We share the almost the same food. The chayote in beef broth and greens looks very yummy too. Ah, I miss the monsoon season. Have a good day!
