I like how this fangames really do take the source material into account in different ways, when you're Arnold, it's a uphill battle with a seriously powerful foe that's as fun as it is tense, and when you're Hart... it just becomes a power trip. Like, you get the feeling Hart could kill basically anybody from downtown Olathe as a uptown Olathian hopped up on jerky, alcohol and Joy. Also, since the fangames I'm talking about are made by two different people, it's weird since Hart's Life Ruin Skill work on Arnold when another fangame had Arnold be immune to it (since his life is already ruined from the Franchise), but getting an insta-kill move to go off that early in the fight is a dopamine rush for sure, like in Shin Megami Tensei when a boss is weak to holy or dark Magic and you somehow get a insta-kill on them with a hama or mudo Skill. What I'm saying is: keep the turn 2 insta-kill in. Let the power flow! Oh yeah! Anyway, can't wait for the fangame.
I'll like to try and make one of those small character mods myself in the future. I can make decent sprites but i've never touched rpg maker... Since this was your first time with the tools, how did it felt ? Was it hard or can begineers expect to get into it without too much struggle ? Also, your limited assets are really well used !
thank you! and it wasn't necessarily "hard" more like tedious, since whenever something goes wrong, I have to find the problem and fix it, and if that still doesn't work I have to find another solution
I'd say it would be hard if you're making this from scratch. As you can see from the credits, it says that the game's project file comes from an existing game, so the cutscenes and all of that were already given to me, I just needed to make it the way I wanted it to.
Great game, I've gotten 4 out of five endings, just missing the fifth one. If you don't mind, can I get a tiny hint on how to get the 5th ending? Just a smidge... Please?
i forgot which ending is which, and I've even heard that I may have made a mistake in the coding that doesn't actually give you one of the endings but I can't be bothered to fix a 3 year old mod so I'll just list all the endings and see which one you didn't do 1. kill no one in particular with heart breaker 2. lose the fight 3. kill no one in particular without heart breaker 4. kill the core 5. guard in the first phase until hart gets the pacifist status effect (it's a 10% chance), then win the fight in any way. core or heart breaker no longer matters, I think

Probably not, I don't plan on adding more content, and future updates would probably just be balance changes or bug fixes if enough people pointed it out.

To fix Hart not having the walking animation, you need to activate the "restore_char" script
