I like that you iron as you go. I don’t understand people who sew without ironing. Projects look so much better with ironing and the ease of fitting pieces together is so much better with nicely ironed seams and pieces.
Hi kachi! I really love your content, I look forward to Sundays so I can see the next project. This rain coat is definitely the cutest I've ever seen; I hope to be able to do mine soon using your inspirations. Thank you for being so awesome.
I really love this pattern---so I bought it! Could you please tell me what type of fabric (outer shell) that you used? The type of fabric is important because I think it helps with the fluidity of the jacket---it swirls so beautifully! Is this Nylon, Polyester, PUL? Thanks so much for making the pattern and the videos!
It’s really cute! I love how oversized it is. If I could tell my beginner self one thing to improve her finished garments, it would be, “IRON! You almost can’t iron too much.” I couldn’t believe the difference it made. It’s funny…when I’m watching other TH-camrs sew, I catch myself thinking, “oooh…that would’ve looked better/been easier if you’d have just pressed/ironed first.”
Thanks for this tutorial! While you made it specifically for your coat, i think we can use some of the steps to make other coats as well -if we don't have or don't understand the given instructions. Your explanations and footage were very thorough.
I love this style of raincoat!! It's so free and easy and flowing like a shirt dress! The reveal photos were in the perfect location too! This was a great tutorial! You're super talented to construct such a complicated garment. Thanks for sharing!
Kachi: Please, subscribe! 😊 Me: Ok! (unsubscribes so I can subscribe again) The coat is so pretty! ❤️ The technical steps you showed while sewing made me want to get my hands on this pattern and start sewing *immediately* 😊 I love the methodical, technical stuff so much ❤️❤️
