Ohio has so much diversity, flat and farmland with small plots of woods on the West, Suburbs mixed with plenty of farm land, rolling hills and big woods in the center, then big hills borderline mountains and tons of woodlands on the East.
A good thing about quartering shots is that, even if you're too far back, you'll puncture the diaphragm. It will usually be a long cut. They can't breathe, so they expire quickly.
Great filming, good shot and a good deer, Ohio is a great state to live in especially if you deer hunt an fish for big wallys. Thanks for the work, it was like you bought me a beer😂
Thats how it is here in Missouri as well, ozark mountains, soft rolling hills, and flat farm land by the Iowa, Illinois border. Its great whitetail habitat
I don't understand how 540 people have watched this oland only 8 of you have given a thumbs up. I hope all you people that want to support certain people that hitting the thumbs up helps them a lot. If you can watch you can hit the thumbs 👍 c'mon guys. Let's help these guys out, even though I wish I were doing half as good, I'm not gonna hate because they are
So instead of going home empty you admit to taking an iffy shot on a quartering towards you deer. Man I’m glad you found it congratulations. You have to be ethical in every single shot there shouldn’t be any questions about that.
Awesome hunt! You can't beat a double on the last day. Your filming and editing is amazing. Gives me a goal to work towards as I have just started self-filming my hunts. Thanks for sharing. Curt WhiteTALES Deer Hunting
@@davel6041 Mississippi River runs down just East of the center of the country and Ohio is 3 states East of it. So it is more of a Mid East state then even a central let alone a Mid West state
It's not east but has influence, it's not south but has influences, it's part Appalachia, it's part midwest. Heart of it all. But it is overall Midwest
The heart pounding during the shot is the best part, awesome job!
It was an intense moment for sure!
Love the heart pounding and shaking my goodness! So relatable!
Amazing shot placement after holding for a week! 😂😉 Nice job Boss😎
Welcome to Ohio. Congrats.

You’re not wrong there! Definitely a lot of different terrain from different regions of Ohio. No big deer here though.
Congrats on 2 great buck harvests!
Great Ohio Buck

Nice shot Skylyn!!
Man my arms were getting tired just watching you hold your bow back haha I've been there. That's a tough spot. Good shot buddy
Love it! Talking about the hunt with football on TV. Does it get any better? Congrats boys!

naming states for likes is the same mentality as a fishermen that spot burns for likes. Definitely not a selfless act.
@wideopenhunter we are naming the state because that is the location of the hunt. We name our own state of Missouri as well when we hunt here.
@@HeartlandBowhunter you mean you're naming the location for likes. Just admit it. I've gotten other TH-camrs to admit it.
@@TheEverLovingOutdoors No not at all. I am not sure how the location would generate likes. Its simply to tell our audience where we are hunting.
@@HeartlandBowhunter I'm going to refer you to my original comment. Happy hunting.
@wideopenhunter you too. Good luck this Fall!
I don’t think you can use a site with a battery in ohio
FYI Ohio is not in the Mid West
Actually it is... heart beat of America and is a Midwest state.
