Wearing headphones, earbuds, or just playing from the speakers on your phone? Don't be afraid to experiment with the listening experience! Typically you can find me in three situations when accessing ASMR content. To stay focused while blocking out the noise, I'll wear over-ear headphones at a low volume. The carefully constructed ambiance is a welcomed blessing in this busy world, helping me get the work done. Now listen... come close... if it's the spine tickling, brain buzzing, full-body tingle effect we're after, I'm reaching for the earbuds every time. They're small and fit inside the ear, making it easy to cozy up in bed, blissfully mixing into the sounds now bouncing around my head. Lately for casual listening, I've been playing the sounds straight from the phone's built-in speaker. It's a realistic and cozy effect laying in bed with nothing in my ears and just the sound coming from the speakers. If you have surround sound speakers in your bedroom, you're on another level and don't need my advice. From super high-quality assortments or low-fi sounds that bring you into the space, it's good to see you, glad to have you here and hope you enjoy.

I find fast sounds distracting but not sleepy so slow sounds for sleep but fast sounds for when I want to be distracted

to each their own I guess but yeah man😂 idk how people can relax with fast paced stuff, my heartbeat syncs up to it and I just get anxious tbh
Gentleness and slowness in asmr is always perfect to hear when you're really tired and feeling sleepy.

Just my theory… The lack of stimulation people got the last few years of lockdowns and isolation ESPECIALLY from the younger folks is the reason fast and chaotic asmr became popular. As for me, life is stressfully stimulated and chaotic enough… I need escape from that so this is heaven

I really liked this one! The big blue brush was my favorite. I also liked the “1 inch wonders”. 😁 Not sure why you didn’t like them. Because I haven’t been listening to you for very long, I’m not sure if you did previous videos with a lot of you just whispering or “ear blowing” into the microphone. I really find those extremely relaxing. Thanks for another fantastic ASMR session. 😊

This was an interesting experiment! The slowness combined with the extra sensitivity added a bit of anticipation to the triggers. (And nooo the Jif packets were not too loud.) Could this be the quietest room in the world? At my desk I'm on an ancient pair of Sony MDR-7506 and it's sooo quiet.
