- My Channel - I'm sure you could name all your favorite westerns off the top of your head. Today let's take a look at some of those westerns that you may have seen but have moved to the back of your list. Not necessarily because it wasn't a great western but just not as high profile. It’s fun to go looking and rewatching some of these lost gems. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Almost every classic b/w Western made before 1950 except Stagecoach could be included but let’s note a few. Cimarron. The Best Picture Oscar Winner should be right at the top. Others: Yellow Sky, The Westerner, The Virginian, To The Last Man and Union Pacific.
Perhaps there are some that moved Little Big Man to the backs of their mind, but I'm not one of them. It's one of my top 5 Westerns, can watch it anytime. There's perhaps no better supporting character than Chief Dan George as Old Lodge Skins (Grandfather). Many other memorable performances by Faye Dunaway, Martin Balsam, Richard Mulligan, Jeff Corey and Aimee Eccles.
good to see Ride the High Country and Man of the West. You could have added many other Anthony Mann westerns as well as any Budd Boetticher western. And where are Forty Guns, Run of the Arrow, Rancho Notorious, Johnny Guitar and The Left Handed Gun? another post maybe?
Tom Selleck may have only made 6 westerns but every one is worth watching ..
Yeah, it's strange, Selleck has stamped his persona on the genre so well, that it leaves the impression he has made far more.
You need to look at a great movie, called From Noon Till Three.
Any movie with Charles Bronson is worth a watch or 2.
