I have a similar style popcorn maker which I'm passing on to a friend and, although I kept all the packaging, I couldn't work out how to get it back in the box! With the help of your unboxing, it is now safely packed and on its way to brightening up my friend's day with a pop! THANKS AGAIN!

Just use a large saucepan with lid and do the same over a gas/electric hob. You don’t need this Rick and you’ve got to store it!
It might be a gift, but yes a waste of money, the top is cheap plastic too. I prefer toffee over salt myself.
I agree...always used a saucepan as I can do many things with a saucepan which takes up less room

Enjoyed your Happy video. Tip for you. The holes on top are to place butter for melting, but you are correct to leave the top off while popping. The bowl isn't a serving bowl as one would hate to crack it and be without. Still enjoyable.

Try garlic salt and olive oil. It’s addictive…but don’t add the garlic salt until after it’s popped, the garlic will burn.
I have one almost identical here in the US for about a year now. Love it. I use avocado oil, but I also like real butter on mine.

Looks like a nice piece of equipment. The smell of freshly popped popcorn 🍿 is one of the single most delightful smells! I have microwave popcorn in the cupboard but eat it sparingly as I never thought of it as a low calorie snack, but you have piqued my curiosity here and maybe I need to rethink this. I am always craving something in the evening and end up getting a bit of this and a bit of that which most likely works out to be worse than some popcorn. I find that a small bowl of berries when I have them on hand is my best option.

Oh I will have to see if they have a similar one here in Canada. I have an air popper but it’s a whole lot of wrong!! A spout type one. Popcorn goes all over the place unless I place a tea towel over it. Thanks Rick! A shopping I will go!!

I think we all turn into a kid again, watching popcorn pop. Try using some coconut oil next time, gives an amazing flavor to the popcorn, and coconut oil has a lot of health benefits.

Now that UK restrictions have lifted i wouldnt be surprised, as covid is an inconvenience to their Alan Whicker ways of international jet setting. Their 6 month visa free limit would have expired in Mexico, & its been 12 months since they first landed in the UK in July 2020. So they can now start back over in the UK for another 6 months visa free stay. If i was them i would prefer to be back with family in Australia after years away travelling & reluctantly cough up the dough as expensive as it is. They cant be short of money tho, as It must cost them alot to travel around freely for as long as they have. So called covid passports will likely to be the next hoops to jump through, but easy enough to bypass if not an anti vaxer.

I bought an air popcorn maker years ago. Horrendous.
Worked well enough, but the popcorn it made was not very pleasant shall we say.
Seems like a lot of salt if one person is going to eat the whole lot. I think the Air Poppers are best.
