What a dominant showing by Chikurin. Not just in the grand finals but the entire tournament. The man looked unstoppable with Lili.

I've seen some insane Lili's from character purists that's make her look absolutely graceful. Chikurin is up there but he's dropped some combos and hasn't been using the optimal damage set ups. Chikurin is the only one though that's taken her to the absolute top. Here to more Lili wins in the future!
Shine is pretty damn incredible. I don't he handles tourney nerves well though. Glad to see my girl have her day for sure.

She's strong. She does need a few nerfs, but nowhere near as many as the other S tiers. She's honest to play.

@l3unnies I think the simplest changes would be to make feisty rabbit 2 a -10 or -11 and make FR 3 -15 instead of -13. FR can lead up to a lot of different mix ups with dew glide, making the 50/50 more risky would bring more ingenuity for mix ups using dew glide attacks or cancels. Her damage is fine, and her input for her high damage combos requires precise inputs.

This is a completely new game. I don't think it make sense to treat a Tekken 8 Lili win like a Tekken 7 Lili win
Lili is far from busted in tekken 8. She still has some of the same silly issues she's had since tekken 5DR. Her tracking is all jacked up on half her moves so high level players don't hardly use them at all, and her combo damage and speed is nowhere close to someone like dragunov. In fact she's even slower then she was in tekken 7
@@roddny444 She's busted. You're all acting as if she wasn't already considered top 10 even before Evo. She's way too evasive, way too high damage for low risk, has every tool a character needs, good frames, best sidestep in the game, insane range, great combo damage, great neutral, insane mind games. She's in need of nerfs. She was mediocre in 7 and they overtuned her.
@cassandra1606 what are you talking about. The only advantage she has is evasiveness and that's when it works properly due to it being inconsistent. Her combo damage is nowhere near the potential of half the other characters. You must not use her and just get clapped by her all the time but I've been using Lili since her debut and I don't have many issues fighting her with Reina because I know her. I look for the same issues she's always had that they've never fixed, she's slow in this game so it's easy to pop her before she gets most of her moves off while majority of her moves are highs and lows that are easy to spot so its not hard to counter her. She is not top 5 at all maybe not even top 10 but tier doesn't mean shit when you're good at fundamentals, you just have less advantages to work with.
Very well deserved victory Chikurin, you played really well man, you relied on Tekken fundamentals and made your opponents guess and that's close to what real hand to hand combat is all about. The fact that Tekken can simulate this for almost all characters shows how well this game is balanced. The better player always wins. All characters can win tournaments.

@MJ-fp6lx even guys like yoshimitsu Victor and Alisa are secret top tier with their unblockable and unparryable weapons. But people won't realise it until some player will play their top game like what chikurin did. I can bet if it would have been some other lili, players like knee channel or lowhigh would have easily won but chikurin here was a mixups monster ATM(at the moment)

🗑️ tournament. Audience was literally dead bored. Low high and channel lost at character select picking low tiers like Steve and Zafina against such busted characters like dragunov and Lilly. Steve and Zafina are completely dead in Tekken 8. The matches were all blink and you'll miss. This game is not fit for tournaments right now.

You sounds like you know better than lowhigh and channel. They have played against chikurin before and they know they can't with their mains. That's why they chose the secondary characters to fight because chikiurin might don't know their style. But chikurin's lili is just too strong and they still lost. You aren't tournament players and you know nothing about how they think.
