I had those same type of shelves in my shower. To remove the sticky pad use a blow dryer and butter knife (and patience!). It takes some time, but comes off!
I just moved 2.5 miles away! I bought a new place and spent 2 months doing renovations and moving things I was afraid would get broken by the movers! Reminds me to keep cleaning out!

My move was like 2550 miles. 😂 But it was worth it buying my house. You can buy a condo or townhouse here in Chapel Hill, NC 1 or 2 bedroom 1 bathroom for 150k to 225k. I think you can afford that. It's like renting an apartment.
obviously this is too late, but liquor stores will give away boxes for free. Theyre small boxes but they have a ton. it sucks spending money on moving boxes just to throw them away.

If you use a hair dryer on the plastic holders in your shower it should help with removing them! I have the same thing in mine.
