Thank you so much for sharing everything. CAT is in the next month and most probably I will be taking my 4th semester exams offline in the first week of November. I'm just a little scared, I have accepted the fact that I have to study really hard managing both of these. What's your suggestion? Honestly I know I have to manage eventually and know what I need to do but still getting your perspective in this will boost me up. Also my mock scores are always fluctuating and the highest I have scored is 76 percentile. I know if I work hard enough 😅 I can reach much more than that. But in these last days,I am feeling exhausted. I'm studying but I feel I can do more but I'm not doing. I don't know if this makes any sense but just putting out there. Anyway the marks that had to matter would have already been recorded. Make sure to take ample mocks and analyze them. Work on your weaker areas and strengthen your strength, that's how you're gonna improve the mock scores. You can certainly make it this very year. Just give it your all in this last leg of the journey.

Hai di, after every mock analysis, I find some quant questions that are worth noting down (because I'm very weak in quants). My small doubt is can I note them down in a seperate notebook and maintain it. Will that work? How did you do this in your preparation days di? Ps : very thankful to you dii for creating content that keeps us on track❤❤❤❤❤. You are so sweet❤❤❤
Thank you dear ❤️ You can certainly maintain a separate notebook for that. Just don't spend too much time on noting the question. Instead, note the trick behind it that can help you solve such questions if they come again. That's how I did it.

Mam, I will be giving CAT as a fresher with a year gap after graduation. I don't remember a lot from my B.Com syllabus. How can I drive my interview away from technical questions or can make the interviewers question me more on subjects like Financial Markets and Marketing rather than other course subjects which I do not remember.
You can conclude your introduction on this note and mention your interest in the subjects you like. That will increase the likelihood of the interview steering in the direction you want.

Hello akka. I read 2 articles and the hindu editorial daily. Apart from that, I'm only able to focus on 1 subject the whole day. For example, if I start taking quants in the morning, I end up doing only that the whole day and not touch dilr and varc. If I try to do quants for sometime and then take out dilr sets.. I feel like I have not done quants enough, so I need to continue with that only. That's my prblm akka. I know that all 3 sections should be given equal importance. But not able to easily switch between subjects during practice . How do I tackle this problem? Btw, thanks for helping us out akka. ❤❤❤ this channel is❤
Thank you so much dear 🥰 Honestly, you don't need to do all three sections every day, you can take up 2 sections at a time. Like VA can be done everyday the way you're doing. Just complement it with solving a few RCs every day too. Along with that, just pick one section out of QA/DILR and take it up throughout the day. You can repeat this schedule till you get better at either of the two sections.

Hi Shweta, I have been thinking of doing MBA, and thus want to appear for CAT '22. I am right now an IT professional and have 2 years of experience, and by 2022 it would be 3. I want to go for MBA for two reasons basically, first to shift from IT to Marketing, and majorly for my interest in the latter, which have been there since early years with an inherent interest in advertisement and brands. Honestly, I wanted to ask you (someone with a vivid profile and an experience in the field) a question that has been in my mind since long, would the IT background have any dark imprint on my career ahead in the field of marketing, even after I give my cent percent to the MBA course? I really wanted your honest opinion since I have been hearing stories of recruiters prioritizing freshers over someone with a job profile in the past? Hey, thank you so much! It's true that a lot more freshers make it to the marketing roles than working professionals but it is not because freshers are preferred in marketing. It is because other fields don't prefer freshers as much and hence freshers are left with marketing as the major option. Now, coming to your question - IT background is not going to be a hindrance getting into marketing. All you need is to show some interest and inclination towards the marketing field in your CV by pursuing courses or taking up an internship (if possible). You may also read up more about marketing in general to increase your chances of getting through the interview, shortlist would not be a problem. One of my friends from Ops background even got all marketing shortlists, so IT shouldn't be any problem.

No I am confused as how to get into HR as entry level HR jobs are not that much as I have looking in different portals. You can take the CAT exam in your final year. So, if in Nov'22 you will be in your 5th semester, you're eligible to take CAT'22.

I don't think we need our graduation degree before Nov 22. It's only after that.
But yeah...this Feb and March 2023 is still confusing for me. Maybe provisional degree is helpful.

Honestly, not a lot of job offers come for the HR profiles. XLRI, TISS are more renowned.
