    I went April 14th-21st it was refurbished and I’ve seen a lot of videos before the refurbished version and it looks like it had a lot more things to do because sometimes I was a little bored and I wished some of those things were still there

    This is probably the best review/walkthrough of a cruise line I watched. I'm on this ship and I am stoked about being in Bermuda with overnight(s) stay. This is going to be great!

    Hello Jeff and Chelsea, I recently sauled on the Joy and enjoyed it very much. A few things to mention about thw hot tubs. At the adult pool area there are 2 hot tubs and a a few occasions when i wanted to use them , it seemed to always have a kids in them using it as a kids pool. Also the very large hot tub at H2O was never hot enough

      @TravelDetours  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ve noticed some hot tubs are hit and miss with those problems too! But we always found one when we needed

    Great ship. We were on it last July and loved it so much that we're going back on this June 2nd. The observation lounge was our favorite!

    My wife and I just came off the NCL Joy 12 days ago, after sailing from NYC to Quebec - and on that type of sailing, the dynamic or feel of the ship is quite different. Because of the more varied weather (we had rainy and sunny days) and more stops to get off and visit) the ebb and flow of people results in some places (like the beautiful Observatory Lounge) being crowded in the morning and almost empty from 17h30. Using the running/walking course outside would've been impossible if they'd put out that many deckchairs as there were on this Bermuda trip, whereas we could still zig and zag between slower walkers - without falling over all those loungers or deck chairs. Beware though - the ship is about to undergo some major changes - the laser tag area will be eliminated to enlarge Vibe and one flank of the Obs lounge will become more cabins.

    For the first time ever, the childhood home of Walt Disney has opened up for public tours.
    The two-story home in northwest Chicago is where Disney was born in 1901 and spent his early childhood before moving to Missouri in 1906.
    The house was designed by his mother Flora and built by his father Elias in the late 1800's.
    The current owners of the home are hoping to restore it to its original 1901 state and get the property designated as a historic landmark. Thought you may want to know!

    Sailed on the joy back in May was pretty awsome the speedway was too narrow and tight they slow the cars down going up the hills wasn't a fan at all people crashing into each other

    I'll be on this ship in just over two weeks for the first time. Excellent walkthrough. I do have a couple of questions if you have time to answer. It looks like it's not nearly as crowded on this ship as the Breakaway and Escape when we went on those. There was never anywhere to sit and bars were PACKED most of the time. My other question is do you know if the waterfront area has bar service or attendants to bring drinks?
    Thank you for an excellent video! I had no idea the Joy was bigger than the Breakaway. Although the Breakaway was our first cruise so I'm sure any ship would have looked huge to us no matter how it compared to others in the fleet. That cruise officially started our addiction and this next cruise is going to be our 3rd with Norwegian! :)

    • @TravelDetours
      @TravelDetours  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ll run down what I know.
      It depends on the time of year if it is packed or not. But we like to hide where ever the people are not for videoing. In this case most spots were full. On the waterfront and only the restaurants had waiters the rest you had to go to the bar from what I remember.
      Glad you enjoyed the video! We love making them
