I have Spondylolysis and degenerative spondylolysthesis which got me medically rejected from the military. Is there anything you can do to heal up the fractured vertebrae? Thank you
SO NICE to see a serious video that doesn’t have music blasting over the words!!! Nice to hear a doctor pronounce all six syllables of spondylolisthesis and not slur!😇👍
So clear and helpful!!! Very articulate. Thanks!
was just diagnosed. thanks desk job!
I only just found your site, very informative, thankyou so much.
Welcome
This doctor is super smart!.
I had spondylolisthesis L4 L5 1s ,had lumbar fusion 2 weeks ago , had left leg numbness , atrophy , and stabbing low back pain , after surgery I'm pain free, is low recovery but it worthy , I had a orthopedic surgeon here in Fairfax Virginia dr,childs..thanks to him and his team I m doing great
Ofelia Mendoza , where exactly is your numbness and did your numbness go away after surgery?
I have this condition except mine is retrolisthesis of L3 and L4.
Is there a question
@@DrTonyMork No, I think that it's fairly stable but it might be adding to my lateral stenosis at those levels. I'm sure that I'll need surgery as my femoral neuralgia is getting worse.
The joys of getting older🙂.
How much is the surgery? Endoscopic spinal deconpression.
I have that condition from L2 through L5 in my lower back and is very painful not yet a MRI.
Dr Mark that is exactly what I have I'm a 67 yr old female that has had to go to a wheelchair will I ever be able to walk after the surgery I also have dextroscoliosis and my spine is not straight you can look at my back and see it I'm in so much pain and it goes down my right side and leg to my foot is there any hope for me its my L 4 and L 5 S 1 and facet problems too
Doctor will you help me and fix my back or make it so that my I can feel good again please I'm not sure about insurance and stuff but I think you're an excellent doctor thank you
This guy doesn’t take insurance. How fair is that?
Thanks Dr. My son has an L5-S1 condition like you described. He is in his 40's and would like to see him evaluated. He has a new MRI on Oct 27th and I
have been in contact with your office to submit this data. I have MRIs from shields for 2016 and 2020 but we wanted you to see the latest. I will call your office
when I have all the data available next week. I am hopeful we can avoid connecting L5 and S1 together.
surgery is danger or no?
Thank you for posting this informative video.
Dr. Tony, you mentioned that there are five Types of Spondylolisthesis as described by Wiltse Newman and McNab, can you let us know besides spondylolisthesis, what are the other four types of spondylolisthesis? Thank you.
Very informative. Thank you for your willingness to talk to people.
Rdruhl no
I have a 50% overlap and a bilateral pars fracture at 37!!!! A lifetime of wrestling and weight lifting, and mentally blocking pain has brought me here. I'm in constant pain and recommending surgery. I have hooked osteophytes and no discs anymore and really demoralized.
A fusion is often the recommended treatment for what you describe
Dear Dr Tony I am having degenerative spinedolisthesis. What arecthe things that I can do to get away with this problem? Pls do reply I am in great need of ur reply

@@kalyanik5451 Any medical question is better answered during your free phone consultation not online on a youtube channel... The MD needs documentation to be able to give any diagnostic. Please call our office at 949 640 6675. Thank you so much
I just sent you a comment about the Synovial Cyst L4 L5 in conjunction with my Spondylolisthesis. I'm becoming very Concerned! I also have fibromyalgia pancreas Divisim. Hopefully I'll be getting health insurance by the end of May 2018. I'm sure I'm going to make it before then. I'm in chronic severe pain now! I know your not able to dignosis me without having an MRI. What do you Suggest until I get my insurance? My low spine has been ruined by my heating pad. It's the only thing that helps
Hey Doz. Could you comment on a MR scan pic of mine. In my journal it says Spondylolisthesis Levi Gradu. Furthermore, the journal says there is no root compression shown in the pic, but there must be, as I have been in pain from my lower back all the way to my left toe. My question is, should I go for a surgery ? Im 26, and the last 8 months have been hell for me.....
You need to know where the nerve is getting pinched
Thanks Doc Tony for such good explanation i have this issue but i dont have any solution to this matter.i dont have money to support for this. What can you give other solution.thank you

After a back injury at aged 26 I was told to take mild exercise and tons of painkiller, at aged 47,it was confirmed I had Spondylolisthesis and sciatica two fractured vertebrae (no surprise to me) but being as I live in the U.K no ""TREATMENT"" as it was deemed too late, I had spinal surgery in 2014, It helped slightly reducing the pain, but was in no way a "cure"" this whole thing has cost me my sex life, my work, my home and I only have a lifetime of pain and disability to look foreward to!! Thanks N.H.S I hope the money you saved from doing fuck all for ME, a full blooded English man goes to good use, probably wasted on some self inflicted malady or a fat ponce or junkie!!!! Now the shower of shit in power are trying to stop all of my benefits!!

@@sohelfiha8049 we cannot give medical advice online but we strongly encourage you to call our office for a free phone consultation at 949 640 6675. Dr Mork is an incredible MD and he will let you know exactly what to do with your back pain to get better.
Not true! Had decompression done. Now has made my back worse!! Now my back needs to be fused! Food for thought this is not a fun rodeo! When they talk decompression in my opinion insist on a fusion cause you are going to have to have it done sooner or later, especially if a decompression is done on you..
I am sorry after I made my post I believe we were talking about two different decompressions. Mine was a bulging disc. Where they drilled holes in my disc. That's what has now caused my disc to be laying on each other from what I was told.. Now they say fusing is my option now- to not be in pain and to have my strength back into my legs. As for my age I am 54. Thank you for responding to my post.
Tony Mork do you still review films/reports? I have been treating spondylolisthesis with conservative methods for years but I'm getting worn out & tired of not being able to enjoy my life. I Would like another opinion.
Rachel, seek medial assistance with a surgeon that specialises in spondylolisthesis. You need to get a current MRI and Flexion Xray to see if its stable or not stable. I am 13 months post op from L4 to S2- PILF laminectomy (back part of spine removed including Facet joints), cages, rods, rhizotomy( sever nerve roots in the spinal cord). I am alot more mobile and much happier. There are support groups on Facebook that can help you if you need- Good luck.
i had this issue on my lumbar, so i want to ask you, if i do the surgery, can i walk and stand like normal
people after recovery?
Don’t do surgery, buy and read this book online, read the review first so ul be encourage,it helped me..im pain free and now have a normal life can work out run, etc.
Woo hoo! I love getting old.
Said no one ever. 😒
Appreciate your video. 🙏✨
Phir mujhe bhi same problem hai
That was totally useless... u could have got that from any rudimentary post... how bout some insights, doc?
