This legislation is made to punish poor countries because Europeans have already done damage in their industrialization but they are stopping industrialization in developing countries.

At least Australia is vast. Malaysia, sumatra, borneo are small areas. So impact to environment is bigger in South east asia.

I think you're forgetting that Australia is mainly composed of a huge desert. So, in my opinion, Australia's biodiversity is as vulnerable to the ones in Malaysia.
