Thank you, Kathy! I find that most Tarot decks depict youthful beauty throughout the deck. I always feel that the courts should reflect the wisdom of age, experience, and mastery. Not that a young person can’t have some degree of wisdom and life experienced, but having a mature person depicted makes it seem like an actual life journey. Just my preference…others may disagree!
Yeah - I'm the first to give you a thumbs up and first to comment. Really enjoyed this review of all your decks. I only have 2 indie decks as they are generally out of my price range (with exchange rate, p&p and our taxes) so I love seeing what is out there without having to actually buy them. I would always worry about paying so much for a deck and then maybe, not liking them - I would feel guilty about having an expensive deck in my collection that I don't use. I would love to know which decks (out of all your decks) would be your desert island decks - the ONLY 5 or 6 decks you would take to a desert island and be happy using for the rest of your life. 💜💜💜

I try to look at a lot of unboxings when I can, but often I’m backing a Kickstarter, so I’m taking a chance. The only indie deck I had in my collection that I really couldn’t read with was the Star Child Tarot by Danielle Noel, which was so strange because I really love her Moon Child Deck. I sold that one and got another deck 😉. I do have a video coming soon of my top releases for 2020 coming soon. Maybe I should do a desert 🏜 island deck video as well!
Watching your collection videos has really been a treat!! I have recently gotten into Marseille with reading The Way of Tarot by Jodorowsky. I will also be reading the Marseille Tarot Revealed by Yoav Ben-Dov. There’s more to it than meets the eye with combinations and seeing where people are facing (directionality similar to Lenormand) which will tell you a lot regarding meaning. I also recommend Tarot de Aux Arcs by Lori LaPage through Printers Studio. That deck surprised the hell out of me. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it because it’s so ’messy’ but boy do those colors grab your intuition in ways unexpected... I also wanted to note that sometimes the titles get cut off from the frame, but I’ve been enjoying your videos immensely!!! Thank you for a guided tour of your style and tastes in tarot! ❤️
I’m taking a snapshot of your recommendations because these are great, thank you 🙏! I have a long “to accomplish” list for this year that it is making me anxious. I’m just going to have to check things off one by one and what I get done will have to suffice. It will be interesting to look back this time next year to see what was accomplished. Thank you for telling me about the cut off titles. I don’t like to go back and watch my videos after I film them because I hate the sound of my voice and I think my videos awful! I just go to places in the video where I know I have to cut out some extraneous content! I should go back and watch all the way through, so that I can get it right, but I’m afraid that watching one of my videos all the way through would keep me from ever posting a video 🤣!

I held my breath going in, because I just knew you were going to show me something I needed to add to my collection. I am fortunate to own the majority of decks you showed. I have both AnnaK versions as well and continue to use the MP version and save back the indie. I had already trimmed and edged the MP, so the size is closer to the indie. Thank goodness I don't connect with everything you showed that I don't have. But, dang, I found 2 more decks to add to my collection. The painted tarot and the Hilda Tarot. The Hilda is out of print, so that one might be a while. So that's 2 decks out of 3 videos, so not bad. Really enjoyed watching the videos of your indie collection. Thank you so much for sharing. Most of my small, newbie, collection is indie decks. Somehow I just havent really been into the artwork of the mass marked ones. I dont have any of the decks from This video, but I think I might consider looking more into the painted tarot and the Hilda tarot.
Both are great decks and the Painted Tarot is available now. I know the creator of the Hilda Tarot has been working on a Tarot book, so I think her work on a reprint of the Hilda Tarot was halted. Hopefully she will resume her work on it again!
