First of all Tyler Perry is not a minister, second Jakes allow him a platform in his church, third and let him lay hands on him too. Tell me, how do you know those that are authorized by God, or qualified. When a preacher stands before the people, and trys to convince them that something is true when they have no way of proving to be true, does this make the preacher qualified. I see many preachers feign speaking in tongues, but never hear one of them interpret what they are saying. They completely overlook the bible where it clearly says, do not do it if there is no one there to interpret what is being said. How can a preacher convince anyone that the bible is God's word, when they do the very thing that God said not to do. But they are bold enough to stand there and tell you what the bible says, and what you should not do. The bible says to prove all things, but the preacher tells you to believe, believe in things that he himself does not understand.

Preachers of the Gospel have become motivational speakers and standup comics People are using "church" as a platform to bring glory to themselves. I want to ask the people on this thread something, how do you know the words coming out of Tyler Perry’s mouth are not sincere? I am not going to criticize a man who is publicly acknowledging the name of Jesus I’m just not going to do it. How many of you have publicly got on a stage and confessed the name of Jesus? I try not to comment on these things except to say that if all that was genuinely from the Holy Spirit, then hallelujah! Praise His name. But if they were faking it, then I feel sorry for them because God can not be mocked.
I agree but this pastor is starting to remind me of Gino Jennings. He gets in the pullpit and discusses what these other preachers and pastors are doing more than teaching the Word of GOD , just pick a topic , stick with that topic the whole sermon . Example,,,,we know homosexuality is against GOD,,,,, then ur topic should be homosexuality,,,,,, then you go to the book of genesis and you reference your topic to the story of Sodom and Gomorrah and you teach the people what GOD did to homosexuals in the Bible . Another example: if you want to discuss false prophets , then you let that be your topic ,,, and there are so many passages and stories in the Bible (especially the Old Testament ) that discusses the consequences of false prophets and leading the people of GOD a stray . My daughter said to me the other day, “mama why don’t preachers teach on spiritual warfare and break generational curses and UNGODLY soul ties and all that type of stuff , being rapture ready , 20 years ago pastors didn’t mention other pastors names in the pulpit like I’m seeing today .

This is the issue with many churches today. Would TDJ have allowed someone who only had $1 to give, speak in front of the church? This celerity type of mentality has got to stop. TDJ relinquished his position as a Pastor and gave it to someone who was not authorized to "preach". Just because one can quote scripture does make them qualified to preach. TP gave that money because the IRS said to do so, I guarantee he used that as a tax write off. Did the spirit tell him to give to the homeless? He past more people in need while going to the church but I bet didn't feel led to give to them.

He never boasts but only speaks of his relationship with Christ. His prayers are anointed. There is no acting. He quietly exhorts the Lord. There is no craziness going on.
He prays to St. Michael. To a statue, an idol. Everybody speaks Christianeese these days because they get more views. Stick to prayer, fasting, bible reading/study and purity. I am not going to criticize a man who is publicly acknowledging the name of Jesus I’m just not going to do it. How many of you have publicly got on a stage and confessed the name of Jesus? If Tyler Perry is so bad why is he in God’s House talking about Jesus? what did he say wrong ? We as God’s children, sin all the time in all types of ways and yet we point our fingers at people whose hearts we know nothing about. Tyler Perry is not Madea. He is not a drag queen. He plays a woman for theatrical purposes, and I don’t necessarily agree with that but to call him a drag queen is wrong. I agree but this pastor is starting to remind me of Gino Jennings. He gets in the pullpit and discusses what these other preachers and pastors are doing more than teaching the Word of GOD , just pick a topic , stick with that topic the whole sermon .
Example,,,,we know homosexuality is against GOD,,,,, then ur topic should be homosexuality,,,,,, then you go to the book of genesis and you reference your topic to the story of Sodom and Gomorrah and you teach the people what GOD did to homosexuals in the Bible .
Another example: if you want to discuss false prophets , then you let that be your topic ,,, and there are so many passages and stories in the Bible (especially the Old Testament ) that discusses the consequences of false prophets and leading the people of GOD a stray .

This is the issue with many churches today. Would TDJ have allowed someone who only had $1 to give, speak in front of the church? This celerity type of mentality has got to stop. TDJ relinquished his position as a Pastor and gave it to someone who was not authorized to "preach". Just because one can quote scripture does make them qualified to preach. TP gave that money because the IRS said to do so, I guarantee he used that as a tax write off. Did the spirit tell him to give to the homeless? He past more people in need while going to the church but I bet didn't feel led to give to them.
