I can really relate to this video... every year I have to do a culture and family origin project, and in African American but as far as I know I’m just.. black. Everyone else in my class are from different countries and have cool stories and ancestors and neat foods and traditions to share.. and I don’t know where I’m really from. Don’t know my ancestors because my parents and their parents don’t keep track. I don’t have any special traditions or foods and I never have anything special to tell about my culture.. which is why I wish I wasn’t really just.. black.. You should do an ancestory DNA test and do some research on the people from where you're from. That way you can start a legacy for your kids that you didnt get to have. Teach them about their history. I'm Mexican so I have Spanish ancestors, Irish, Aztec, and who know how many other native cultures I dont even know about. I just identify with Mexican in general although there are so many different types with different native backgrounds. I could care less about my Spanish or Irish ancestry because it's so many centuries back.
