This case is so pretty!! I have no idea what pens I would put in it. Maybe some of my desert island pens. So they’re in an easy to grab case. 😂😂😂 gorgeous! I’d love to see how it patinas off you can give us an update later!! :)
One of my favorite smells in the world is that of quality leather. Galen makes some of the best. The smaller pen cases are not, unfortunately, in my collection, They look better than what I have. I'll have to pick them up, though probably not until after Christmas because my wife is ready to retire, so our income will be dropping. Not a bad thing at all, but it does mean I'm going to have to cut back on splurge purchases. I try to buy pen cases that are leather, and I always grab notebooks and journals with leather covers. For my regular A4 and A5 notebooks I buy leather wrap around covers, and I have a couple of sip in covers. We have a leather craftsman about fifteen miles from where I live, and he makes beautiful leather, and can make anything from the leather that you want. He isn't cheap, but his work is worth it. Anyway, I still buy premade leather notebooks and journals and pen cases, and use him when I want something I can't buy, and Galen seems to be the best out there, and they have very reasonable prices. Another good thing because I won't be able to afford custom made leathger items very often. Everything you have there is beautiful, and all I have to do is close my eyes and I can smell the leather because I know how wonderful Galen leather smells.
I am so glad to hear that you have been enjoying Syracuse. The cases are amazing. I would put in there my three Montblanc fountain pens(two 146s and a 149), two from Birmingham Pens, three from Pelikan (two M805s and an M400 with a flex nib), and four from Pilot (Namiki Falcon, Custom 823, Pilot Stargazer, and a Custom 64). I don't buy leather, but I still enjoyed seeing your review of this beautiful penrn case. For me, the answer is obvious -- keep your entire Kaweco collection in one of your two original pen cases. They seem a bit too short for the new case anyway and look great in the smaller case. This may not work if your organizational scheme requires keeping inked pens separate from uninked pens.
Can’t wait to place an order at Galen leather soon too! I have a few pens that I’ve just kept in a box. Also love your nails!! Haha but why do you have two different nail shapes on either hand? Nonetheless they’re beautiful 😌

I would keep all the plastic Kaweco Sports together in another pen pouch/case, and so I would have enough space in there for all the larger pens.
