Great videos! I was in athletics 30 years ago, but never got this sprinting exercises right, mostly because I was doing long distance running.. Now at the age of almost 50, I'm slowly getting back into shape and these videos are rally helpful.
Wow, just watching your short and crisp instructions on the A and B skips made me understand, for the first time in my life, what their purpose is and how they relate to that amazing stride runners like yourself have. Thank you! I will try to practice these to see if I can start running more efficiently (and gracefully 😅).
Holy pancakes ! Best running drills tutorial I have seen ( have watched more than I would care to admit) the depth of knowledge you must have to be able to break all that down so that a lay person can understand . Absolutely Genius
I owe you much thanks. I have been training my son who is 10 years old. And your videos on A and B skips are the easiest one there are for him to understand.
I truly love these videos, very instructional. It takes me a little longer to learn, but Í have been able to get this down good and best of all it has allowed me to get a bit faster. Thanks!
Thank you, I am watching and trying this for the 3rd time and I FINALLY got the rhythm down!!! I hope your surgery recovery is going well so you can get back out there doing these skips again soon!!!!
I'm still watching you and am grateful too thank you so don't think you're talking to yourself I'm sure in fact positive that dozens are learning from you as I am
Hey i am from a countryside.. I don't have access to coaches and great infrastructure.. Your vedios are really helpful in improving my mechanics and overall running health ... Can you please make a vedio on different running workouts and the things to keep in mind doing them ... Thanks coach ❤
Really good video!! I thought I was doing it right the whole time but I was never landing back on too . Thank you soo much!! I feel like a professional now cause it looks soo smooth
💕Thank you sooo much❣️ Your A skip and B skip videos are the most clear and informative ones out there! When you get a chance, can you do the C’s and D’s too? 😀
I'm 1m 95 and look a right freak hopping, but gonna give this a try & see how it goes as I think to need to firm up technique rather than "just running"
You would think she would have a junior coach responding to the question comments. Followers would explode. Lots of sports nerd who would like this job.
52 y.o newbie runner-- can run mi 6:15 and half marathon 7:40ish pace... how often to do these and similar drills (A B C skips) ?? done in warm up? before or in conjunction w tempo or interval runs? none of these times are world beating but hey for soccer dad im happy w VO2 max greater than my age. ;)
Warm-ups usually employ certain aspects of movement mechanics relevant to the actual sport in open play. May I know how the B skip mechanics is related to the actual running? If I were to guess it is the part where we need to perform leg extension with the goal of increasing stride length. Am I correct in this assumption?
Hi Chari, looking your videos a lot as they help me improve my form and hopefully, my parkrun time. Someone commented on my running today saying that it was "quiet" in comparison to the stepping noise of other runners. I was wondering if that is a good indication that my running form is right... Or not?
Good work Chari. How do you train/sprint through a knee injury like bone on bone? I love sprinting and keep doing it but wonder if there is a way pros do it? Thanks.
Hi Chari, can you please give me advice, why do I brake when I run fast and then I fall and can my running improve if I do more long runs every week. What can help me not to brake and fall so that I can get my self convince back? Regards Marten
If I thought the A-skip was difficult you just brought the B-skip to the next level 😢😢😢😢
You are guaranteed not a athelete
😂😂 We play cricket and our warm up is the same 😂😂
This was the clearest explanation of the B Skip I have watched. Great video
Amazing, I’ve learnt to do my A-skip and B-skip with you. Is there any possibility to show how to do a C-skip.
Great videos! I was in athletics 30 years ago, but never got this sprinting exercises right, mostly because I was doing long distance running.. Now at the age of almost 50, I'm slowly getting back into shape and these videos are rally helpful.
