I have absolutely no interest in acting but this interview was incredibly educational. It also helped me to really appreciate the craft of acting and the hard work behind it. Thank you!

I love your tip on taking improv classes. I have a tough time acting a skit or scene that I haven't written out and pre-planned and I think looking into improv classes would be beneficial to me. Thanks!

I throughly enjoyed and learned from all your comments. You are a most photogenic young lady. Why are you not still in front of the camera?
Crazy as it may sound, at 75 years old I was selected to go to an artist showcase. I had never auditioned before …but took my 13 year old granddaughter to a random call and “got a while hair” to read a commercial ! They choose both of us!
I’ve always been “the Funny Girl”…quick with a come back…but this time I was struck dumb! I’m neck deep in it and scared out of my skin. Too much …too late for this ‘Ol lady! Certainly don’t want to disappoint the kind folks who are giving me this chance.
Watching you and others will hopefully help…
    Thank you
    Ms. Donnie Quinn (Martha)

Gracias.

I deeply loathe the whole self tape experience. Especially when I’m by myself and I have to go start the recording myself first. Really. I just hate it. It makes me want to cry cz I never seem to get out of my own head with a cell phone placed in front of my face. And most of the time I never even end up sending the audition tape. Id prefer in person auditions any day Bcz then….it’s as if a light goes on immediately in me. I am at my best when I’m under pressure. Not when my environment is telling me it won’t be all over if you make a mistake- you can go another round-you have all the time in the world.
